Some Democrats are privately worrying that Hillary Clinton has been spending too much money and seeing too few results.
Clinton, who has way more cash on hand than Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been outspending the New York real estate mogul at a rate of 15-1 but has seen her lead shrink to single digits in certain key states.
According to The Hill, senior Democrats met with Clinton in DC on Monday and mentioned a recent Florida poll that showed Trump pulling ahead in the Sunshine State. They questioned whether Clinton was really running her campaign effectively, having spent about $47 million in television ads.
Trump himself has spent next to nothing. A few SuperPACs and the NRA have run around $3 million in anti-Clinton ads, focusing only on her position on the Second Amendment.
The good news for Clinton is that the worrywarts were a minority, even among the professional strategists in the meeting, according to one source at the table. That source said the concern was largely voiced by “bed-wetters.”
But Clinton needs to start pulling ahead of Trump if she intends to sustain the lead all the way through November. Trump will likely get a polling boost from his convention speech, and while some Republicans are splitting off the party in protest, led by Ted Cruz, who is trying to make them feel better about their decision to abstain, Trump supporters are feeling stronger than ever.

Garner had been arrested by the NYPD thirty times since 1980 on charges such as assault, resisting arrest, and grand larceny.
Obviously he knew the drill and his resistance was a contributing factor to his own death. Thug life guarantees a Darwinian outcome.
But perhaps we will get some parenting tips out of the RAT convention.
Another example of Hillary’s lack of forward thinking. Obama gave her a blueprint on how to win in this modern age using social media and celebrities, but she is using the same tactics her impeached husband did in the 90’s.

Interesting the democrats have been relying on Cruz to get Hilary in the White House.
Trump is not planning to run a conventional campaign.
That’s not him and he is showing people you don’t have to spend a lot of money to be successful.
And Hillary and the Democrats are stuck in the past.
She has the same mannerisms as my alcoholic aunt.
As a former drunken sailor, I must take exception to that characterization.
1. We drunken sailors were spending our own money.
2. When we ran out of money, we stopped spending.
No matter how much you spend dressing it up, perfuming it and marketing it - it’s pretty hard to sell a dog turd.
Hillary has no record of accomplishments to run on and the only thing she can and will do is try to tear Trump down.
Its not going to be enough.
It’s really difficult to try to market a cow pie as an angel food cake.
They don’t show Hillary because she doesn’t wear well ......

A week ago you compared ugly Donald Trump with ugly Hillary Clinton and declared them a visual tie. That matters because our visual “brain” generally wins against whatever part of the brain is pretending to be logical that day. But once we got a look at the entire Trump family, acting as a group, our visual brains started seeing them as a package deal. And when you compare the entire Trump family’s visual appeal to the entire Clinton family’s visual imagery it’s a massacre.
Would you prefer seeing Bill and Hillary Clinton decompose in front of your eyes for eight years, or watch the Trump family develop their dynasty? Entertainment-wise, that’s no contest. And people usually vote for entertainment over policy. They just don’t realize it. That’s the biggest news from the convention, and you won’t see it in any headline.”
