Senior Dems Concerned That Clinton Is Spending Millions on Ads That Aren’t Working
Heatstreet ^ | 22 Jul 2016 | Emily Zanotti

Some Democrats are privately worrying that Hillary Clinton has been spending too much money and seeing too few results.

Clinton, who has way more cash on hand than Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been outspending the New York real estate mogul at a rate of 15-1 but has seen her lead shrink to single digits in certain key states.

According to The Hill, senior Democrats met with Clinton in DC on Monday and mentioned a recent Florida poll that showed Trump pulling ahead in the Sunshine State. They questioned whether Clinton was really running her campaign effectively, having spent about $47 million in television ads.

Trump himself has spent next to nothing. A few SuperPACs and the NRA have run around $3 million in anti-Clinton ads, focusing only on her position on the Second Amendment.

The good news for Clinton is that the worrywarts were a minority, even among the professional strategists in the meeting, according to one source at the table. That source said the concern was largely voiced by “bed-wetters.”

But Clinton needs to start pulling ahead of Trump if she intends to sustain the lead all the way through November. Trump will likely get a polling boost from his convention speech, and while some Republicans are splitting off the party in protest, led by Ted Cruz, who is trying to make them feel better about their decision to abstain, Trump supporters are feeling stronger than ever.

They don’t show Hillary because she doesn’t wear well and people don’t plain like her.

This is the first campaign in history where Democrats are forced to hide their own candidate.

Love it!

He should begin to run them during the commercial breaks between DNC speeches.

Now THAT would be cool, but I don’t think it would be allowed.

Trump dominates on Twitter.

He gets free exposure and has a higher profile than on traditional TV.

Which fewer and fewer people watch anymore.

And she is not endearing in the least. Trump can beat the crap out of with negative ads and no one will feel they have to defend her on any basis at all. She cant use the “poor wittle me” defense. She is stuck, she cant use the female defense that Trump is a big meanie.
She is toxic in so many ways. Her shrieking voice. Her criminality. She is toast...

Hating men, hating whites and hating America is Hillary’s ticket to the White House.

Yeah, that will win Americans over to her.

Still needed but social media posts will have more impact than in the past and cost a fraction as much to produce and distribute.

Well, that's child's play. Bill Clinton's run for an unconstitutional 3rd term in office started out by buying pundits to direct their websites and the social media platforms into an army of robots, re-sharing whatever ridiculous memes that the campaign directed.

Truthfully, I think this campaign has two fortified sides - the Dixie Mafia and the rest of America. The battle will be an infantryman fight of personal convincing. Blanket states with bumper stickers, buttons and yard signs. Because honestly, I think that the biggest hurdle at this point is making people unafraid to support Trump.

I like the fact that those raising concerns about her spending tons of money with no results are called “bed wetters”.

Keep throwing your money away Hillary.

It’s what Dems do best.

Oh, NOW the big money boys behind Herself are worried they might not be getting their money’s worth.

If political campaigns had never evolved into vehicles for hiding huge amounts of graft and fraud, perhaps we would not have all this poorly applied dispersal of resources.

They keep on writing and re-writing the rules for campaign finance reform, and the abuses get worse and worse.

But 250,000 of those very expensive TV spots ARE GOING to the “Coronate Her Hillaryness” members of her national press corpse in EVERY TV newsroom across the country.

The TV and national print media ARE getting their money (from her campaign) from her campaign international donors and her international bankers via these ads! Now, the same TV and national print media are already in her pocket, vestments, and underwear ... but these hundreds of millions of HER media money make sure their bosses and owners are also in the bank.

The only ads showcasing her are are from her White House days as First Lady touting the children’s health insurance program.

It reminds me of Jeb’s famous brochure listing all the wonderful things he did as Florida’s governor - that by the way, nobody read.

Hillary’s last domestic accomplishment was over twenty years ago.

Who cares?
