George is a Clinton propagandist whom I’ve no use for.
But Nixon was a huge, huge figure in up into George’s teens, and in a pre-cable, video game, or Internet era, when such network TV exposure and influence on reasonably smart kiddos was probably at its highest.
This is the last thing he should be challenged on.
Or high energy costs.
what we witnessed was the art of the deal.
this speech was straight out of trump's wheel house.
what he presented was the "business man's" problem solving technique that he applies every day when he buys a property in disrepair or foreclosure.
first he clearly identifies the problems, then he determines ways to solve the problems, then he implements his plan.
actually very refreshing to see how government presented from a proven successful business man's perspective is so distinctively different from your typical everyday politician's solutions.
very different process from someone used to having their own "skin in the game" vs. your typical pol who is playing with OPM.
Yep, and PIAPS speeches remind me of 101 Dalmatians...
ARF! ARF! ARF! ARF! ARF!
Trump has better hair than George Stephanopoulos could ever dream of having.
In 1974 when Nixon resigned, George was just 13. He was most likely a lot more interested in learning what that thing between his legs was for than in politics. I’d bet his TV exposure was more attuned to Happy Days, Lavern and Shirley and other such nonsense.
For him to say the speech “reminded” him of Nixon, I WILL challenge him. Any knowledge he has of Nixon most assuredly came from the interpretations of others...from their books, movies and/or archieved columns eg Jack Anderson or as others here have suggested, Hillary Clinton.
PS...my FRreeper name is Roccus, not ruckus
George is exactly my age. My siblings and I watched every minute of the Watergate hearings, and were acutely aware of Nixon from early elementary age. (I actually campaigned for a GOP candidate in the 1972 primaries.)
You really have no clue.
It was “dark” because Trump exposed some TRUTH...Truths that Dem/Commies don’t want exposed to the light
Of course they are all playing from the same sheet of music. Almost in unison they denounced the "dark, foreboding" character not only of Trump's speech, but of the entire convention.
Often using the very same words and always the very same themes.
Those who actually watched will know it's part of the Big Lie. But many of the 300mil who did not watch will read these headlines, sometimes the entire first paragraph...and the themes will be reinforced by every Dem Pol and every TV News room.
And this is why, at some date in the future, we must kill the press.
You rock bro.
Things are good after eight years of Muslim leadership.
I’m sending my Mother in law to Paris, Brussels and London. She’ll be wearing red white and blue.
You have a weird sense of humor
My guess, we head to low grade civil war if Clinton wins. We go to full bore communism and resistance begins. Much of it armed.
The principles of our founding and constitution have been nullified under Obama. Electing Hillary will be the gavel sounding the end of freedom. A stamp of approval for communism.
