LYIN TED CRUZ STUCK IN KNIFE IN DONALD TRUMP’S BACK TONIGHT–
Cruz reneged on his promise to endorse the Republican nominee Donald Trump.
The RNC convention BOOED HIM OFF STAGE!
Republican officials said Ted Cruz’s stunt was “classless.”
FOX News reported:
One RNC official called Cruz’s speech “classless,” while a senior GOP operative on the convention floor told Fox News, “I could not believe it. I literally could not believe [Cruz] didn’t endorse Trump. I’m speechless.”
Cruz, a rival of Trump’s during primary season, was booed off the stage after ignoring cries from delegates to formally back the presidential candidate.
The cacophony of noise and discontent was amplified when the nominee himself walked into the Quicken Loans Arena as Cruz was finishing his speech.
Ted Cruz is to Ronald Reagan as John “Elephant Man” Merrick is to Salma Hayek in her prime. ;)

I feel a small bit of satisfaction in knowing that my gut about this guy was right and that he has ruined whatever political future he had.
I suppose he can become a false prophet like his dad...

In the beginning, I thought that cruz was a true patriot but now I see he is just one selfish sonofabitch.
Last night, cruz screwed the pooch on national TV, he is toast.
I hope the same happens to Kasich, that lousy traitor.

Everybody knows of the bad blood between Trump and Cruz. This just exposes it more.
BUT...It allows Trump to appear magnanimous, that despite their rivalry, he reached out and allowed Ted to speak FOR 23 MINUTES and Ted used it the way he did.

The Utopia of liberty as we think the founding fathers prosecuted only existed, even back then, in the super minority. I want to believe that the people will enter this realm of make-believe where everyone sees the conservative ideal that is written and talked about.
It has never been there, it will never be there. I know this makes conservatives such as myself smokin’ angry but there is vision, then there is reality. To furiously exercise our teaspoon against the tide will result in you being furious and the needle not budged a micron.
This is the will of the people and if eventual suicide is that direction ranting is not going to stop it. I can only live my life as an example to others while I shake my head at everyone else while they run full tilt into their hole of oblivion.
I heard that libbylu’s opus was epic, but I never saw it. Is there a link you know of for it? She was a cruzbot to the nth degree.

I’m ashamed to say I voted for Cruz in the primary.
His political career did not die a natural death; he did
a kamikaze careericide on it.
Now, God willing, I will walk barefoot over rough gravel to
get to the polls and vote for DONALD JOHN TRUMP for
President of the United States in November.
That is what switched me from Cruz to Trump.
Amateur....

Other than that, it was actually a great speech
Cruz’s public petulance probably ended his political career last night. Sad. But better we find out his mettle now than after he’s elected president. We dodged a Bushite bullet in the primary.
