Heidi Cruz, wife of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, was reportedly rushed out of the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night after the crowd turned on her husband at the end of his speech.
Boos rained down on Ted Cruz as he issued a speech calling for people to vote on their "conscience" and declining to officially endorse Donald Trump, despite loud calls for him to do so from the crowd.
With her is Ken Cuccinelli, the former attorney general of Virginia, who has also been firmly anti-Trump.
Cuccinelli reportedly confirmed to journalists that he helped Heidi Cruz leave the scene after the speech out of concern for her safety.

Ted gave a fairly decent speech. Fell sort of short on
TRUMP. (Sour grapes are not becoming. We don’t like sour
grapes.)
Were I Trump, I would create a reality TV show, “Pick Your Senator” and have contestants vie for a donation from Trump to run against Cruz in 2 years. That would be a great show.

It was a very good speech. I was very disappointed Ted Cruz didn’t finish the speech with an endorsement of Trump. All he had to do was say, “And remember, in November, vote Trump! God Bless America. Thank you and good night.”
I would definitely watch and support that show.

Cuccinelli, Cruz, Lee and the GOPE all are perfectly willing to see a Hillary admin. They don’t see one bit of danger and are playing typical politics as usual all the while pissing and moaning about their so-called”principles”. And every last one of these “principled conservatives” eagerly endorsed, supported and voted for McCain and Romney, two of the most liberal nominees in gop history and yet they can’t stomach the thought of president Trump. Not only does Heidi Cruz help write the NAU guidelines but now the Goldman Sach globalist has done all she could to make the RNC attendees appear to be violent to her. Not enough to plot to destroy our borders but she has given good material for anti Republican ads. That whole family are psychopaths!

I watched with my 13 year old son.
I explained to him that Trump controls who speaks. We watched Tucker Carlson ask “how does this happen? Every speech gets vetted”
And I explained...
I don’t think Trump cared what Cruz said.
1) Cruz’s constituency is hard line conservative. And, quite frankly, almost every moderate to liberal I know hates him — fairly or not. (side note he was my favorite early on. but I have grown to dislike him)
2) Cruz had two choices
a) Endorse Trump
b) Don’t endorse Trump — Try to explain why we should vote for Cruz in 2020 — and if he does this he might p*ss off a lot of voters right now
My son said “so either way Trump wins”?
I told him that if Cruz was someone that Independents/Moderates liked, the calculus would be different... BUT YEAH.
The kid got it. Fox News hasn’t yet.
It is not slander because
1. it is true.
and 2. it is written.
That said. Cruz is a stinking whore of the US Senate,
and his father should be deposed regarding the Kennedy
murder.
