On July 19, Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom tweeted that it is “easier to get a gun than a happy meal in California.” He based this statement on an earlier claim that there are twice as many gun dealers as McDonald’s restaurants in California. However, he overlooked that McDonald’s restaurants are not required to observe a ten-day waiting period on burger or fry purchases; gun sellers are.

My local congressidiot tweeted something similar the other day about making it harder to get automatic weapons. I invited hi to meet me at the gun shop of his choice so he could pick one up. I even offered to pay for it.
He may be right. I’ve not heard of any California legislators pedling happy meals.

In Gavin’s case, “a happy meal” may not be referring to a hamburger and fries. Maybe “beans and franks”.
(Yeah I know he was married to Kimberly Guilfoyle, but she was smart and ditched him. I think he is engaged to a very young woman or tranny or granny or guy. That would be the LA and SF way of moving down the “love chain”).
