“VP bounce. Hillary will get one too”

The other day Trump and your candidate were tied, BUT, he was on an upward trend line, your candidate is headed for the sewer where she is most comfortable.

Wherever did you get the notion Hillary is my pick? I’m all in for Trump, forgive me for just keeping a poll in perspective.

Bet she chooses Sherrod Brown,,as she needs OHIO...

But when Trump Team starts digging into Brown's background in Lorain County, OH...they will find he is not the ‘Golden Child’ he tries to claim to be...
I lived in Lorain County, OHIO for 34 years...

WE NEED TO TRASH HILLARY DAILY WITH THE DEATH OF FOUR AMERICANS IN BENGHAZI, HER PAPER TRAIL OF DEAD FOLKS IS LONG, AND IT SEEMS TO KEEP GROWING.

p.s. I'm in South Western PA. and all I see are TRUMP SIGNS and there are more and more I see daily...PA. wants change and not a clinton/obama change, either...jmo

I think neither candidate will get much of a convention bounce. This election will be a day by day knife fight. As the public becomes more informed again about Hillary she will slowly fade. As she fades desperation and rhetoric will become insane from Hillary. Unless Trump does something stupid he will be the next president.

Cruz was my man, but hell will freeze over before I vote for Hillary. It is also time for Cruz to get over it, and back Trump.

to post 68.

wrongo.

Dan Quale was a drag on Bush41 in 1988 and 1992.

also, I think Clinton made a brilliant
choice with Gore.

Not a VP bounce, a Muslims-are-killing-again bounce.

I’m not so sure HRC can get a bounce from a VP pick.

She is toxic enough that signing on is more likely to destroy the reputation of the selected individual rather than help Clinton in any way.

Plus she’s in a “diversity” bind. She’s not going to pick a black person because she thinks she’s got that vote locked up. She can’t pick a white male without offending half her base, and she can’t pick a white woman without having an internal ticket diversity problem. And she can’t pick a Hispanic without it being an obvious pandering reach into the backbenches, since the only Hispanic of sufficient stature in that party is Bill Richardson, who hates her.

Not so sure about that one. If Pence is as compromised as he has appeared to be over the past number of years, then it’s only a matter of time before the Deep State takes a shot at Trump.

A VP in the modern day and age first and foremost needs to serve as assassination insurance, and Pence may not pass that test.

In contrast look at the list of post-Reagan VPs and you can see that not one of them would have been preferable to the top dog, from the point of view of the Deep State. Nobody had anything to gain from replacing Bush I with Quayle, Clinton with Gore, Bush II with Cheney, or Obama with Biden - in each case the successor would have been more of the same. Pence would break that pattern.

It’s amazing to me that there has to be a group of voters who must flip back and forth whenever the wind blows. How else can we explain the polls flipping back and forth?

You know I’ve been critical of Pence, but his interview on Hannity gave me some hope. I am also liking that he is a social conservative.

I have found something disturbing in my perusal of the Trump Reddit forum. There are a lot of independents who thought that by voting for Trump they had taken over the Republican Party establishment which they include as social conservatives. They thought they had tossed them out and shifted the party to a liberal social platform. Some bash conservative Christians and Christians with passion. They want the party to support gay marriage and abortion, and some are unsure if they will vote Republican over these issues. Those aren’t the kind of people we want to change our party. Sure, we welcome their votes, just the Democrats welcome votes from people who are pro-life or against gay marriage. They would never change their position, though. Nor should we. I think it’s imperative we stick up for God, life, and the sanctity of marriage. If picking Pence helps reiterate that, then I am really coming around to the pick.

I can testify that central_va has in fact always been a Trump supporter primarily because he believes Trump is going to bring back American jobs.

He walks around viewing reality through the paper towel tube of jobs returning and that extremely narrow view allows no intrusion of any other facts or reality. He likes to call names Globulist and Free Traitor and in so doing was labeled E Trog (economic troglodyte)

Pence does not fit within the narrow view afforded by the paper towel tube and is therefore unacceptable

I went to the Hampton web site. Their last poll in February had Hitlery beating DJT by 8.

Is there a time limit on a bounce?

Depends on whether or not the cat's alive.

How many “undecideds” are really pro Trump, but don’t want to tell strangers that?

My guess is more than a few.
