Pence probably makes it easier for Cruz to mend fences, if he is willing.
Trump has a tough combinatoric problem to solve. He is stepping up first to try to govern the US that is, not the US that he wishes were there. Transformation has to begin at the place where we are. We might wish Cruz was not there as a potential discontent, but he is.

Ha days for speakers but mostly just says TBA about the times.
I think it’s not unusual for the nominee to come out late on Thursday night (not sure) ...maybe for a hug with Cruz?
