I have to admit, there’s a hellava lot of truth to that.

The Soviet communists we knew to hate — and they were spread thin (that’s why it was possible to finally bring them down in being overextended).
American communists charmed us and we offered them aid and comfort.
Both were out of the same hell, but the latter found us weaker.
It was not wrong to challenge the USSR, by any means. But we forgot to eschew lazy modes of thinking. God never blessed anybody because they deserved it, but because they were willing to yield to Him. Rah rah us and our King Reagan was inimical to this.

Cruz is NOT a conservative. Cruz has repeatedly displayed unethical behavior, he is a chronic liar, a cheat, and a back-stabber. Those are not traits of a conservative. Persons refusing to admit it, are no better than the democrats who refuse to admit the truth staring them in the face.
Cruz truly has psychological issues. It’s a good thing there are wagons checks at the doors and Trump is surrounded by Secret service. It would not surprise me if Cruz went postal on Trump.
Agreed. Cruz has everything to lose, if he hasn’t lost it already. Trump has little to gain or lose. If Cruz comes out with a glowing endorsement for Trump, it’s a positive, but Trump will likely win either way. If Cruz comes out and appears ungracious and petty, it further isolates him and just serves to make Trump look the better man in comparison.
If Cruz does that, he will have destroyed his already sinking career. Furthermore, as President, Trump can further sand-bag Cruz’s future with a couple of phone calls. Teddy is so one dimensional, he doesn’t realize that actions have consequences.
That’s fine. You can tell your grandkids that when the Trump lead revolution to take back our government took place, you stayed home.
The only capacity Cruz is good for in Washington is to mop the Senate men’s room floors under the urinals.
