As vp, his job is to support the president not fight.
I am actually glad Romney lost now. There would be no trump if Romney won. This is a wonderful time for our country. I despise Romney forever now. The thought of that creep going for second term makes me sick. We dodged that crap.
Well that is what I mean, will he fight for the President if the heat gets turned up, or will he run for cover?
He better do what the president wants at least in public. If they disagree we better never know about it.
When he was announced, one of the first thoughts I had was Pence criticizing something Trump says late in the campaign, thereby undermining Trump and potentially allowing the elite to claim Trump lost because he was too extreme. I imagine Trump is confident with Pence.
Pence is a good example of what is wrong in the party. He signed that religious freedom bill angering liberals even though, “the language was bad.” Then surrendered in humiliating defeat angering the base of the Republican party. Now he is running at the top of the party and liberals are still attacking him for signing that bill, giving him no credit for caving, and there is still a sizeable segment of the base that doesn’t trust or respect him for caving. We need to break out of this circle.
Trump has knocked it out of the park with Pence! Even the democrats are endorsing it with there hysterical attacks.
Mike Pence has a son who is a US Marine.
“I’m looking to see what pence has done for the veterans.
If anyone knows that might be helpful.”
It’s as easy as searching, “What has Mike Pence done for veterans?”

I mentioned only the RFRA (religious freedom restorations Act) as it goes directly to his weakness of dealing with politically correct attacks. He needs to grow a spine, in my opinion, and not be so easily swayed from supposed convictions. The other issues will be handled by Trump. Since VP doesn’t really have any authority, I want to see Pence be a very strong supporter of Trump on the issues we selected him to deal with.
Exactly.
wiki says in the house from 20002012...
Since you seem to be really “concerned” you can do your own homework now.
My God, all this bellyaching over Trump’s selection of VP. From the field available, I think Pence was the right choice. A military guy doesn’t have executive experience, and quite possibly, Trump wants to keep them in their military role.
We’ve gad tge #neverTrump crowd this entire season, coming from the butthurt RINOs and now it seems we have the #neverPEncve butt hurts coming from Trump’s own base. Suck it up buttercups and shut up - we have an election to win.
The only time liberals will give a Republican a positive nod is when it directly benefits them to do so. Besides that, right now he is the opposition. Thus they would never say anything nice about the opposition in that circumstance.
I have been, but thanks for your concern.
Pence was chairman of the House Republican Conference. That’s the third-ranked Republican in the House after the Speaker and Majority Leader. That’s a big deal.
Pence was also an active opponent of Boehner since 2006.
He’s got real cred.
Trump - "Religion will have a voice!"
Pence - "Christian, Conservative and Republican, in that order"
