Not so fast: Defeated anti-Trump delegates vow trouble during the convention

The Never Trump agitators have been defeated, but they say they’re not going away.

Republicans who failed to change party rules here this week and stop Donald Trump from winning the party’s presidential nomination are threatening to cause chaos on the floor of the national convention next week. Bruised by the way party leaders handled debate on a series of proposed rule changes, leaders of anti-Trump groups vowed Friday to find ways to draw at least some political blood when the party meeting begins Monday.

The options are limited, and attempts to cause trouble at political conventions are usually quickly thwarted. But anti-Trump activists who spent weeks trying to play within the party structure now say they will do what Trump hates the most — find a way to embarrass him.

“If they thought they were going to have the nice, unified kumbaya show, they just completely guaranteed they’re not going to have it,” said Kendal Unruh, a GOP delegate from Colorado who led an anti-Trump group.

Finally I have a minute to give an update. Be of good cheer, this battle has just started. Despite the thousands of emails that patriotic Americans lobbied the rules committee with, Trump refused to even allow debate and the conscience clause died.

I tried to follow the rules and the decorum of the process. But the rules committee is 100% irrelevant to the binding movement. I have until Monday to collect signatures for a minority report. Nothing has changed in our planning phase to unbind the delegates.

This now moves from a free the delegates phase to a “delegates unbound” phase. Because even though they put every binding rule they could in the rules, it means one thing, they know we have the numbers to unbind. NOW it is in the hands of all of you to exercise your God given right to conscience.

A reporter asked “Why do you seem so upbeat after your defeat? “ And I responded, “It’s not a defeat. It’s the starting line. Now the delegates themselves will have to take the baton.” God is always in control. Don’t stop praying.

Remember too, that Cruz and his most extreme cult followers ALL persist in painting the Cuban-Canadian import as “The Next Reagan” and Cruz was never bashful about drawing comparisons between our 40th President and himself.

Cruz is attempting to make history repeat itself, and this year (2016) is in his mind, just like 1976 when the Gipper fell short of delegates at the GOP convention that year, and President Gerald Ford prevailed.

However Ronald Reagan supported and campaigned enthusiastically for the Ford-Dole ticket, he didn't throw any temper tantrums and skulk around trying to undermine the party's standard bearer. If Reagan had any misgivings about the ticket, they were never on display after the convention.

Of course, as we all know the ‘RAT Jimmy Carter won the election, which began 4 of the most incompetent and destructive years in America’s history pre-Obama, and that led to the conservative tidal wave which was Ronald Reagan in 1980.

This is all about Cruz attempting to live out his life as a crypto-fantasy of a reincarnated Reagan. But unlike Cruz, Reagan ran a clean campaign, didn’t run his rallies like religious tent revivals, and did not preach to the crowds about the necessity to “raise up and energize the Body of Christ” like Elmer Gantry.

Cruz’ strategy is to do everything possible to undermine Donald Trump, he is a closet #NEVERTRUMPER as are many of his supporters, and it is very likely that he believes that 4 years of Hillary Rotten Criminal would pave the way for his triumphant victory in 2020, exactly 40 years after the Reagan landslide, and some students of Biblical history will tell you that 40 years is considered a generation which to Cruz would indicate the Almighty’s seal of approval.

This is what happens when a candidate begins to believe their own hype, and mixes politics with religion as Cruz has done. It is a toxic and unhealthy mix.

We all knew Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was a friend of ours, and Ted Cruz is NO Ronald Reagan.

Trump has waged war against an entrenched GOPe rigged primary system which was used in the past to anoint the 'favored' one that the party elders deemed that it was "their turn" to be the nominee, it was no different than the staged (but colorful) wrestling matches seen through the decades, the only time that script was tossed was in 1980 when Ronald Reagan did the unthinkable, he won the nomination, the general election, and then two terms in office.

The GOPe never forgave him for it, and they swore never to let it happen again, which is why we had one abysmal term for Poppy Bush the NWO-freak, Bob Dole who although he is supporting Trump, in '96 he had all the appeal of a mashed potato sandwich, and of course in 2000 we got Mr. "Compassionate Conservative" who was the equivalent of a political whoopee cushion to conservative voters who believed he was what he portrayed himself to be.

Add in the twin losers of McCain and Romney, and THIS is why there is so much agitation with the powers that be in the GOPe and their bought-and-paid for attack trolls in the #nevertrump brigade, because they see Trump doing exactly what Reagan did in 1980.

You can take it to the bank that there will be some sort of subversive plot in Cleveland next week to either strip Trump of the nomination OR to render that nomination so utterly worthless that it will pave the way for Hillary Rotten Criminal and her treasonous 'RATS to seize power.

Should that happen, there won't be enough light poles or piano wire to deal with the GOPe-traitors in our midst.
