Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump trailed Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by 12 percentage points in a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday, making him the clear underdog ahead of next week's Republican National Convention.

This is a poll of Clinton’s immediate family.
A nationwide poll is as valid as the nationwide “popular” vote — not valid at all. Only State level polls are valid, and they show Donald Trump ahead in key States.
Margin of error is probably 50%. Meaningless.
Bravo Sierra.
Absolute joke, Clintons called in a favor to stem the Trump tide.
Every 5 min?
They run conflicting reports at the same time!
Hillary is leading.
But if she wins, it won’t be by 12+ points - no one is buying it, not even Reuters/Ipsos.
And if she was poised to win by a landslide we’d see real life evidence.
Her huge lead is fiction.
Hillary is getting only 45%. That’s been a pretty solid number since May and hasn’t moved much.
Where are they getting her over 50%? Even her more popular husband never got over 50% in his two runs for the WH.
Well she better rise in the polls, she’s paying enough.
Hillary’s problem is her untrustworthiness and radicalism.
She’s a radical white feminist. Men don’t like her and women barely warm up to her.
In the polls, she’s winning the Democrats’ leftist base handily but not much else.
She’s way down with Republicans and Indies. Right now she’s in the 40-45% trough.
Its going to be a tall order for her to break out of it.
Hillary +10% Ahead. I tell Democrats.
Trump -5% Behind. I tell Republicans.
She has spent a lot of money - if you believe Reuters/Ipos, she’s clinched an unassailable lead.
We’ll have to see if that’s true or just an outlier.
I think they just polled DNC superdelegates.
Online poll?
Hillary could suspend her campaign for the next four months and she’ll still get 45% in November.
You don’t have to work much if you’re a Democrat.
Apparently it closed today.
I wonder what the internal partisan break down shows.
After a bad week for her, it comes as a boost.
“July 11-15 online poll”
POLL URL only linked via DNC website
ROTFL. Another goofy poll.
I have no doubt if the election was held today, the Witch Of Chappaqua would win hands down.
But we have the conventions over the next two weeks to come and then the debates.
Whatever is true today won’t be true in four months’ time.
