What really happened at Comey's press conference?

My guesses:

1. Totally in the pocket of the Clintons.
2. Trying to send a message despite his hands being tied.
3. Has been in the pocket of the Clintons, but attempting to switch sides.
4. Opportunist who isn’t sure which way the wind is blowing and is not loyal to anyone but himself, so he’s trying to give himself wiggle room regardless of who gains power.

I’m inclined to go with #4, but I have no idea.

I think Comey is irreparably tainted. I’m not inclined to give him any credit. (See my previous post.)

However, it is entirely possible that he is as much a hostage as a POW. *IF* his family is being threatened, then it could explain his actions. The Bill Clinton/Lynch meeting a few days prior could have been any kind of deal, including the kind that tells him under what circumstances he or his loved ones are allowed to remain alive.

Just my speculation.

Why did he shred the witch, rather than praising her when she needed it?

That's the question. I'm just not to sure about the answer.

Knowing the filthy, greedy, ruthless Clintons, that makes a lot of sense.

AS POCONOPUNDIT POSTED: Comey took pains to talk at length about all the evidence that clearly shows Hillary was guilty of at least gross negligence in her handling of classified information (a criminal violation regardless of intent). Comey appeared to be saying, “The Fix Is In.”

CONCLUSION Comey's contradictory statements actually did not let Hillary completely off the hook. Comey pitched out a sharp-edged boomerang that's slicing back to cut Hillary to pieces.

No more proof is needed that Hillary's numbers collapsing....even after Comey....even after Boobamba flacked her on Air Force One and let her speak behind the presidential dais.

Didn’t give the GOP anything? He’d already served Hillary up on a silver platter, and did it in a way that put Democrats in an uncomfortable box. If he’d have recommended an indictment, they’d be attacking that decision, but how can they attack what any reasonable person has to agree were the facts of the investigation? They can’t. All they can do is squirm in the box he put them in while putting out articles (and telling themselves) that, see, it was all just a witch hunt by the GOP.

A witch hunt that found the witch up to her elbows in lies and deceit, not to mention obviously putting her privacy compulsion above national security concerns.

Remember, the Left is furious with Comey right now. That should tell you he accomplished something. And maybe he accomplished a great deal. We’ll see what Trump does with it after she’s nominated, a nomination that might never have happened had Comey recommended an indictment.
