A rumored choice for Donald Trump's running mate reversed his stance on abortion Monday, calling himself "a pro-life Democrat."
Just one day after saying the procedure should be a woman's choice, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn appeared to flip-flop on his view of abortion in a convoluted clarification to Fox News.
“This pro-choice issue is a legal issue that should be decided by the courts. I believe in law," Flynn told Fox News. "If people want to change the law, they should vote so that we can appoint pro-life judges. I believe the law should be changed."
He sent shockwaves through anti-abortion groups Sunday when he said on ABC’s “This Week” that women should have "sort of, the right of choice” with regard to abortion. Many interpreted Monday's backpedal as evidence Flynn was under serious consideration as a potential VP pick for Trump.
In the Fox News interview, Flynn went on to call himself a "pro-life Democrat" and said that he is focused on national security rather than “social issues, gay rights and abortion rights."
"If people are going to decide [the] election on abortion issue they should just stay home," he told Fox News' Jennifer Griffin.
Trump himself has taken a range of positions on the abortion over the years and previously identified as a Democrat.
Flynn has served as Defense Intelligence Agency director under President Barack Obama and is currently advising Trump.

Yada yada yada - Flynn probably won’t be the choice but if he is the “principled Conservative Christians” will have a excuse to help Hillary (one of Satan’s actual minions) get in the WH and increase the rate of abortion as she and her kind do - look at all Obama has done to aid and abet the killing of innocents in a forceful manner and then claim a guy with wishy-washy sentiments is the evil one cannot vote for.....

The pro-life crowd always has been a sanctimonious and short sighted bunch.
Actually, Flynn is 100% right. If you or anyone are going to base your vote on the abortion issue alone rather than the totality of the candidates, then you deserve to live the next 8 years under Hillary Clinton who believes in absolutely nothing that you do. The stupidity of the 1 issue voter is just mind boggling.

Eaton has been a useful fool/tool for the Dims for more than a decade, for the usual reasons. After the invasion of Iraq, Eaton was given the job of rebuilding the Iraqi military. A herculean task, to be sure, and it quickly became apparent that General Eaton wasn’t up to the job. He was fired by Don Rumsfeld, and voila, Eaton emerges as a critic of the Iraq War and the Bush Administration.
Incidentally, the guy who replaced Eaton in that job was David Petraeus. To be sure, Petraeus has his own issues, but he was far more effective in the training mission (and other assignments) than Eaton was. And of course, Eaton’s dismissal from that important post is never mentioned by his friends in the media—or the Democrat party.
Universally disliked by every officer and enlisted that served within 10 miles of his elitist ass.
This guy thought (and probably still does) that he had some sort of manifest destiny and tried to outdo Napoleon in the "ruling" department.
His stupid ass liberal/progressive demands and orders led to the debacles we saw in training of the Iraqis in '03-'04.

I’m for murdering babies, wait, maybe I’m not for murdering babies, I mean if the law says it’s legal to murder babies, who am I to argue. Being pro life is one of my core beliefs.
