IMO the court just said the state cannot make rules for the Party (Freedom of Association).
But read the short article above.
I believe SC can enter into session when it wants in case of emergency.

OK since the judge has invalidated the primary election he should have to compensate the state the costs of the election.
But the party CAN unbind the delegates using judicial precedent as the reason.
Remember, MANY DON’T want Trump as the nominee.
Here is a bet. Watch ANYONE that votes against Trump try to walk back their vote when it’s time for THEIR re-election.

There is also a state law that binds the delegates and he ruled that that state law is unconstitutional.
Not the Party rule that binds them.
Are the gop VA delegates bound by the state rules or by the VA state GOP?

The Party could bind or unbind delegates as they wish, they always could.
Only the disaster that would ensue from nominating anyone but Trump prevents them, or ever did.
