Just got this e-mail from Pandora...

thanks.
"Our heart ache for all those who unfairly lost their lives. We stand with marginalized communities. We stand for racial justice. We stand for equity...
Their hearts aren't aching for the cops who were killed. //

Yep, and additionally, those all-important hashtags: #BlackLivesMatter #LoveAboveAll
No mere dog whistles, these.
Just deleted the app. Thanks.
LOL!
You think you’re cleaver but all you are doing is starting fights with people who don’t want anything to do with BLM and you have the gall to call us “intellectually bankrupt”.
Bite me clown!
You’re free to associate with whoever you want.
However I would be amiss not to point out the allegiance to demiurges isn’t just on the “liberal” side.
I just looked at their fb post and now I see the full effect of their posting - not only did they post those sentences and hashtags, but the layout of an all black background also? They could have picked any color or multi color background.
sure you can ass-u-me their first sentence includes officers killed, but nothing else in all they wrote or how they designed the post would indicate that. almost hypocritical of them to end with hashtag love above all.
I will be finding another way to have commercial free music for my clients.
English language is English language. I do not ass-u-me what is written in English language.
And is not black a color of mourning? This is black, you say — not some Negro-skin brown.
In case you want to let Pandora know how you feel, here is a link to a list of Pandora top management:

Gasp... someone wants a dialogue. I faint.
As I noted earlier, take a look at AccuRadio. Registration is free, and registered listeners get almost zero commercials.
“And this will only steepen the trend.”
I like that “steepen”, don’t know if you meant to say it or even if it’s a real word, but I do like it a good deal.
I don’t listen to Pandora, but I am a Matt Damon fan, so maybe I’m not unsympathetic to what you seem to maybe be saying.
But, despite that I like him enough to keep liking him so far, Matt Damon says a lot of offensive things. This Pandora statement I also find quite offensive. Yes, it’s racist and fails to sufficiently condemn the murder of those police officers. (and it was murder, that can’t be disputed).
If I used Pandora I’d probably dump them, as it is I’ll seek out something else if I decide to go streaming.
Of course there was mention of the police in the statement. The only ones who lost their lives were the police.
Well they’ve managed once more to annoy a group. They can’t please everybody. But the behavior and rationales given by the annoyed group sound a lot like an attempt to mirror the mind, if not the body, of their current enemies, whether or not they know it.
“You can’t get away with this ghastly thing and so to prove it, I will wish this ghastly thing on you!”
Google the Pandora executives names and titles in Google images. You couldn’t have a whiter management team. Must be a bunch of limousine liberals full of guilt about their own success, buying the liberal line, like most of Silicon Valley.
That whole musical genome project was overhyped.
You think, that he thinks that; he is cleaver?
I can hardly keep up anymore.
But thas' ok. I'm fine... ya'll can go on without me.
I'll just roll off the drags (off into the snow that ain't here yet).
