People are dissatisfied, they are frustrated, and they act out on these things and when you put those who are deranged into the mix, and they have access to these very powerful weapons of war, it just makes the stakes even higher. There's no excuse for some of the police shootings that we have been seeing. Police are shooting first and asking questions later. But on the other hand, you have to remember that the police are scared too of these weapons.

We’re on a slippery-slope. Millennials are now embracing socialism. Give it a generation and those left will hand over their guns without a fight. If you have any influence on the next generation, educated them about what the future can be waiting for them if they should fall asleep. Those that want them under their control will not be sleeping...

So, high unemployment within a demographic means embracing of socialism? Free stuff that somebody else pays for, that kind of socialism?
There may be civil war within the millenial ranks. Lots of them serve in our military. And don’t get me wrong but I am usually skeptical of the slippery slope argument. It implies inevitability, the unstoppable wave of history, Hegelian dialectic, & ultimately Marxism. The will of the individual is irrelevant and subsumed within the masses.
Video of any rock concert will seem to bear this out.
But it’s hard for me to believe that a majority of the people will simply cease thinking for themselves. And....nobody, regardless of ideology, likes being directed to surrender personal property, especially when told,
“You can’t have those things, citizen. You must give them to the state.”
There’s an automatic gag reflex that kicks in with the normal mind when confronted with such a demand as that.
