Donald J. Trump Statement

Last night’s horrific execution-style shootings of 12 Dallas law enforcement officers – five of whom were killed and seven wounded - is an attack on our country. It is a coordinated, premeditated assault on the men and women who keep us safe.

We must restore law and order. We must restore the confidence of our people to be safe and secure in their homes and on the street.

The senseless, tragic deaths of two motorists in Louisiana and Minnesota reminds us how much more needs to be done.

This morning I offer my thoughts and prayers for all of the victims’ families, and we pray for our brave police officers and first responders who risk their lives to protect us every single day.

Our nation has become too divided. Too many Americans feel like they’ve lost hope. Crime is harming too many citizens. Racial tensions have gotten worse, not better. This isn’t the American Dream we all want for our children.

This is a time, perhaps more than ever, for strong leadership, love and compassion. We will pull through these tragedies.

I agree the Mn shooting looks bad. But there is more information coming out that may have a bearing. Apparently the man shot was a gang member and the woman who made the video has a lot of drugs and alcohol references on her facebook page..... Lets let the investigation play out to see what really happened.

who was likely a member of the Crips. The woman with him has drug and alcohol references all over her facebook page. We have only heard one side of the story, and only see a recording of what happened AFTER the incident. Lets wait for the facts to come out.

Your suggestion doesn't match with your actions.

But hardly unexpected. This is straight out of the leftist Alinsky playbook.

The first part of the post said I know it looks bad ...

I’m not defending or condemning the cop involved unlike others
I wish people would wait for the facts before knee jerking
Otherwise they just fuel the fire unnecessarily

Look Bub, we’ve both had our say. You got your views and I got mine. Bottom line: My son is an IDC Navy. The thought of him serving under Hillary Clinton is beyond depressing as we all know her track record. So any vote be it for your wife, dog, Ted Cruz, Gary Johnson, is a Vote AWAY from Trump and does NOTHING BUT HELP THAT CORRUPT MURDEROUS BITCH into the WH.. End of rant. Have a nice life.

I’m part of #nevertrump, but that was really good and downright presidential.

Well then please either repudiate your #NEVERTRUMP idiocy, or take your de facto support for Hillary and find a #NEVERTRUMP site on which to disseminate your ignorance...

Vote Trump!

So, if a person writes in their spouse, is that a vote for Trump, or Hillary - or is it a vote for their spouse?

It's a vote for Hillary...

We need to be honest about the problems with minorities and police.

1. There are parts of cities where civilization has been degraded on ALL sides.
2. The residents, usually minorities, disrespect laws, civility, common decency, and kindness.
3. The police resent this and react in kind, lowering their standards of civility to the residents, innocent or guilty.

This is our problem. It’s a problem of lowering human behavior away from the Good And Polite To that of animals.

It should not matter WHY you chose to disrespect common decency. RETURN TO IT. Treat everyone well, even “the public.”

There are people all over who respect traffic laws, litter laws, who hold doors open for strangers, who say “Excuse me,” who smile at strangers. Be like these people. IT MAKES FOR A BETTER WORLD.

We need a leader in the White House who encourages CARING over COOL. Cool means you don’t care. You can’t be cooler than shooting cops off a rooftop. Cool doesn’t have anything to do with good over evil. It’s just a state of not caring.

So have you abandoned your #NEVERTRUMP foolishness as a result of Donald Trump's statement, or are you still a de facto Hillary supporter?

Vote Trump!

The senseless, tragic deaths of two motorists in Louisiana and Minnesota reminds us how much more needs to be done.

Like some others here, I find this statement disappointing. I do think he probably needed to mention either those shootings or at least generically condemn actual proven police misconduct, but this sounds too much like he has already made his decision along with Obama about those two shootings before a thorough investigation has been conducted.

Now, I realize that “senseless” and “tragic” are much vaguer than any sort of condemnation of the police in those cases, so I don’t necessarily think it was particularly inappropriate. I just think he’s giving the wrong impression with that wording. I’m especially afraid that “senseless” means that he’s indicating that he thinks the cops had no reasons for the shootings. A very serious accusation like that from a presidential candidate absolutely should wait until all the evidence and explanations are heard--if that is in fact what he was trying to say (he naturally could have meant it was "senseless" whoever was to blame).

I think pushing hard on the safety and security issue (just like with terrorism) is a winner though.

The political Synergy behind this attack is pretty amazing: • first they accomplish the goal of wiping off of the front page news that their presidential candidate is a chronic Criminal. •then they provided Force for renewing calls making semi auto rifles illegal. •then they kill the cops and renew the federal takeover of local law enforcement. •Pretty amazing.

Yes, pretty amazing, and by the book. But the energy of these days is bigger than their techniques. BLACKS are walking away in disgust over the shootings. Every time people even think of Hillary they go cold with rage. The State Department reopened the investigation which at least denies closure to the Bitch awhile longer. Obama shot his mouth off against the cops just before the Dallas shooting, making it a common remark now that he caused Dallas. And people are heading to the gun stores in droves - including women, gays, Blacks and even snowflakes.

Their crap is sliding down off the wall as we speak. The only thing that's changed is even more people - including Black people - are now voting for Trump. Because black people know that the biggest danger to Black people is other Black people. And now that the shooting had started, the snowflakes are being silenced with a mere angry glance.

NOw that I’m not using my phone to post, let me be more verbose, and clear:

I WAS #nevertrump. However, as events turn in the last month or so, I’m starting to turn. I’ve never disliked what he said. Rather, I think there are HUGE risks with a Trump presidency. I’m also beginning to think it is worth the risk.

But what keeps me from jumping in is the DU-like attitude of Trump supporters. I can’t have a civil conversation with them.

I think he will win if he runs. A LOT of bernie supporters will NOT vote for hillary, but will vote libertarian.

How can you be so blind,to NOT see that?

You can't have a "civil" conversation with us, as long as YOU sound like a DUer!

You are dead wrong about Bernie supporters....only the stoners will vote for the lunatic Gary Johnson. The rest will vote for Trump or stay home.
