Once again, do you not believe the corrupt fat corps are bribing/bankrolling and or providing big favors to these corrupt D.C. politicians so they make life at home for their competitors as difficult/unfair as possible?

Yes or no?

You answer my question first which I posed first which you are deflecting.

How do government-forced higher prices to the American consumer attack the core issues of why companies are fleeing the U.S?

Yes, everybody likes tariffs used for government revenue. Probably the best way to tax. Not relevant here. This is about the futility of using tariffs for protectionism.

You continue to deflect and can’t answer the simple question which is at the heart of the issue here.

Bye.

You answer my question first

What just a minute here. My #59 was to your #1 first. And below is the comment of *yours* I responded to first. No?

"No one can explain why government-forced higher prices to the American consumer attacks the core issues of why companies are fleeing the U.S."

And I quoted you and answered it. No?

Once again, do you not believe the corrupt fat corps are bribing/bankrolling and or providing big favors to these corrupt D.C. politicians so they make life at home for their competitors as difficult/unfair as possible?

Yes or no?

And stop evading the GD question which is based on your own first sentence/comment on this thread.

Yes or no?

As far as I know you didn't answer this question. Try again. What is your answer?

Now answer the GD question you've been evading for 15 minutes.

“””No one can explain why government-forced higher prices to the American consumer attacks the core issues of why companies are fleeing the U.S.”””

You’re not thinking.

The fat corrupt corps which went off shore by the thousands bankroll the campaigns of the corrupt lawyer politicians. No?

Ya think they’re not paying off the D.C. disciples of deceit to make life as miserable as possible for their competition left behind in the U.S.? They get the politicians to increase the regulation and taxes on their dying competition at home. A win win for the corrupt in D.C. And the politicians corporate sponsors are now paying 1940s wages in these foreign countries.

Professional politicians should be forced to wear suits like NASCAR drivers, so we know who their corrupt corporate sponsors are.

That doesn’t explain why companies and industry are leaving our country. They could be doing the same stuff here if they wanted.

Still evading a question based on your own GD comment.

What a piece of work you are.

No YOU are evading my question which you haven’t answered and you seem unable to engage in a reasonable discussion about it. Your accusations about offshore companies do not answer how tariffs fix the core issue why they left in the first place. You seem unable to discuss that, even to the point where you seem unable to address why these companies couldn’t simply do what you say if they remained in the U.S. even though that issue is off point.

Stop with the “GD” crap or I’m done with you.

The are fleeing because your not willing to work 80 hours a week for $2.00 per hour and no benefits. They are fleeing because they can’t just dump all the chemicals into to waterways here in the US. And yes they are also fleeing because of all the taxes and regulations that go beyond sensible, which something has to be done about.

But they won’t be fleeing the US when it is of no benefit for them to do so. And I am willing to pay more for that as well because it is for the benefit of the country to do so. No one really needs 5 60” TV’s so I guess they will just have to learn to live with fewer or lesser features if they can’t afford them. People had to do so in the past because of higher prices and honestly the world was a much better place.

You misunderstood: they ALL used tariffs for protection or to force open markets, NOT primarily for revenue until after 1865. Land sales were a key part of revenue before then.

I hope you are 100% correct.

I gave the Trump Campaign a couple of Donations already and have TRUMP 45 Vanity Plates are on my Car, so I'm all in.

I just don't have much faith in an Electorate that not only Elected Obama in 2008 but thought he was so wonderful that they Reelected him in 2012.

Que Sara Sara, whatever will be will be.

You sound like so many on here, a supposedly site for the Right and freedom, portraying business as the bad guy. Business in the market economy is the goose that laid the golden egg. Cool Cal said, “The business of America is business.” The market economy which runs voluntarily by those buyers and sellers who see opportunity to better themselves is what made America the wealthiest country in the world.

Business always looks for lower cost cost and most efficient ways of doing things. If they didn’t they will go out of business unlike the government which if they fail, they just force you to give them more money so they can fail again only this time bigger.

GOVERNMENT is the problem, not business. Here, it is GOVERNMENT that has forced higher costs of doing business and pushed companies to look elsewhere to do business. And what you describe is GOVERNMENT-forced lowering of your standard of living by forcing limited choices to you as the consumer.

Don’t think command and control government can handle the issues of supply and demand in the workforce and for products better than the voluntary cooperation of the buyers and sellers in the free market economy which made America the wealthiest country in the world. The history of command and control economies, then and now, is they are destitute, impoverished, and disastrous.

Initially they used tariffs to help a fledgling economy get on its feet. Later, protectionism proved as it does now, to be an exercise in futility. It has long been shown that open competition in the free market has produced the highest quality and lowest cost products, and the consumer and the economy has always been the beneficiaries.

Anyway, the point here is nobody can explain how government-forced higher prices to the American consumer attack the core issues of why companies are fleeing the U.S. in the first place.

Why do I have to fight peol on this sie that is supposedly for freedom

I’m for Trump but my trust is in the Lord not man. Because of that, I believe we are going to see good days ahead. But I think it would be beneficial to people in particular and the country as a whole if more people understood the Constitution, which protects their political freedom, and the market economy free of government interference, which is freedom in action and which made America the wealthiest and most powerful nation on earth.
