The House will vote on a counter-terrorism package that will include a provision to prevent suspected terrorists from buying guns, Speaker Paul D. Ryan, R-Wis., told Republicans on a conference call Thursday, according to a source on the call.

The House, when it returns next week from its July 4 recess, will also vote on a mental health bill , sponsored by Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Tim Murphy, Ryan told his House colleagues.

Republicans believe terrorism and mental illness have been leading causes of most mass shootings.

yep, liberals have already stated right wing religious fanatics are more of a danger than Islamic radicals. So just wait till people like Tim Tebow start showing up on the list. If you are out protesting against an abortion clinic you can be assured of being added to the list. Go to a large Christian gathering your on the list. It is going to be a big list!

“Republicans believe terrorism and mental illness have been leading causes of most mass shootings.”

Well, we know that mass shootings are not caused by Islamic radicalism, that is for sure. So the Republicans are left to sniff around for other causes, such as Christianity, pro-life Constitutionalists, Trump supporters, etc.

All this slaughter happening around the world with ISIS is only because ISIS is desperate, according to our Secretary of State, and there is no per cent in dealing with desperation.

"Ryan told his House colleagues. Republicans believe terrorism and mental illness Democrats have been leading causes of most mass shootings."

Redundant I guess.

They’re already doing that. The democrats are touting the argument that if you’re “too dangerous to fly, you’re too dangerous to buy a gun”. Then they argue to use the “terrorist watch list” which isn’t a “too dangerous to fly” list. There is a big difference between the two lists.

Mental health bill, hmmmm

If you like your gun, you have a phallic mental problem.

If you are a girl and like guns, you are a sex addict (mental) or a trans, still in transition (mental).

See guns are bad. They lead to mental problems.

Like if they blow someone’s brains out.

What is it with these d-bags in Congress named Murphy? First, the one in the Senate yammers for 15 hours to accomplish nothing and now one in the House kow-tows to the Pelosi faction. At least the one in the Senate has an excuse as a Demo lib-tard...

I think it’s time to change my political affiliation to independent - let the party die.

I will not associate myself with traitors and vermin scum like Ryan.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, dammmmit! Any congresscritter voting against our constitutional rights should be immediately impeached. We need a direct mechanism to do this!

I wouldn’t be too upset if this law was passed the way it reads, but the RATS will define owning a gun as a mental illness, creating a Catch-22 situation for every gun owner. It’s the camel’s nose again.

Irony:

Democrats hate guns so much they will support a law that almost exclusively affects Muslims just to get the camel’s nose in the tent and set a precedent for depriving citizens of constitutional rights without due process.

In contrast, while liberals accuse republicans of “Islamophobia”, it’s the republicans who are protecting the rights of those a list that currently emphasizes Muslims.

A “suspected terrorist” of course being anyone the government deems threatening.

Watch for all political conservatives to be rounded up first.

If Hillary gets in the White House, it will happen as sure as Monday follows Sunday. And she has, for one reason of another, at least a 50-50 chance. Very few people, population wise, realize the peril we, as a Nation are in. They probably not interested either. But, none the less, if Hillary manages to get in the White House, the last year of obama will seem like a walk in the park. Gone will be your right to own a firearm, or anything that can be construed to be a weapon, gone will be private property, gone will be private pensions. They will be replaced by roaming hordes of marauding muslims and other gangs. Gone will be your right to worship according to the dictates of one's conscience. And that is just for starters.
