Chartaya versus Juvosha. Sounds like an epic Japanese horror movie battle. Where do they get these names?
Chartaya ... and Juvosha.
Chartaya versus Juvosha. Hmmmmm. I dunno without pictures.
Racineist!
Her future mother in law is only 3 years older?
So to summarize:
Chartaya = Bridezilla
Chartaya’s future mother-in-law = Motherzilla of the Bridezilla
Juvosha = Bridesmaidzilla
Fiance = Future ex-husband of Chartaya
Kind of surprising that someone in that group is getting married.
My guess ‘Chartaya’ is pronounced SHART-tay-a.
I can’t imagine what the wedding will be like.
I only came on this thread to read the comments and you guys have not let me down. LOL
I’m sorry Racine....nothing can top a Filene’s Basement bridal sale in Boston. [back in the day]. There are no words.

Seriously?
Those sound like space-alien names from a SciFi show.
I just knew it.
Sounds like Chartaya isn’t too fond of her fiance’s mama and can’t stop herself from being passive aggressive towards same (in this case apparently short-paying for the dress).
This fellow is going to have to choose. If he really adores Chartaya he will leave and cleave. Elope, if you have to, fellow. But these jealous women will be trouble if you try to have them live with one another.
The more I live my life the more I respect my distant elders and ancestors who, in building our society, put in place rules and laws to keep people like this far away from people like me, or at least subordinate to people like me.
At the time it seemed like simple common sense to protect your family against primitive savages who resorted to violence immediately upon hearing, seeing, or sensing some thing or concept that did not meet their wholehearted approval.
Now, that common sense is called “Rayciss”.
I have a theory they write letters on pics of paper, but them in a big bowl and pull it a certain number and make names out of them.
“Kind of surprising that someone in that group is getting married.”
After this display, if he’s smart, the groom will book.
