Witnesses have told Turkish broadcaster CNN Turk that gunfire has been heard in the carpark of Istanbul Airport, and multiple people are hurt.
Two explosions have also been reported by Turkish officials.
Taxis are reportedly being used to ferry wounded people to hospital from the airport.
The war is underway and an enemy is running for US president.

Turkish Air frequently has the lowest prices to Europe when I look to book a flight. My itinerary would necessarily involve a connection in Istanbul. Needless to say, I am not at all tempted by the low price—no matter the price, it is too expensive.
