many people on FR rage about Title9 and women sports in general and women in general...
what they don't realize is that young girls and women need as much direction in their young lives as young boys and men do....
society pushes young girls and women to be loose, cavalier, promiscuous,shallow....
sports helps them develop self esteem and direction...goal setting..
so hats off to Pat Summit...one of the first to really get womens bb going...thousands of young women owe a lot to her and others like her..
Thank you lord. You took this woman just 5 years after diagnosis and you could have have had her linger for another 30 years. She’s a rare lucky one to be in your arms so quickly.

Well said. I’m not a big BB fan, but loved watching Pat coach. Her girls often were better than the boys.
I don’t control the remote, so I get an overload of sports and cars. Only thing he doesn’t watch is soccer, rugby, boxing, wrestling.

nice story....we take my 86 yro mil to our local college womens bb game....we’re all big fans....she sits along the seats above the court for the disabled and we sit farther up.....we have a great time...
