The FBI did not alert numerous Americans that they were placed on secret Islamic State kill lists or notify their local police about the potential dangers, a lapse in the government’s efforts to combat the terrorist group’s evolving strategy to target everyday citizens.
To date, the terror group that goes by the acronym ISIS has published on encrypted web sites several hit lists naming more than 15,000 people it would like to see killed by sleeper cells or lone wolves in New York, Texas, Florida and California.
The lists aren’t public but Circa News obtained copies of some and made sample calls to the everyday Americans who appeared on them, from college professors and military personnel to art collectors and homemakers.
In Texas alone, Circa identified 22 people in a sampling of 24 names who did not receive any notification that they were in ISIS’s crosshairs. It also identified two local police departments whose citizens were on the list that also got no alert from the FBI.

I just figure all Americans are on their kill list.
Those are simply collateral damage. I’m sure they have a list of the ones they really want to kill and by any method available.
I’m a distant relative of David ben Gurion, and they tried once on me already before I even knew I was kin to him.

We live in a different world and the Jewish community is a number one target of these radicals,” said a woman in Austin who found out from Circa that she and several of her friends in the Jewish community were on a list. The woman agreed to be interviewed only on condition of anonymity, fearing using her name would only increase her risk.

The latest public data I saw shows an FBI force of 39,000 personnel. About 13,000 are field agents. About 26,000 are desk jockeys, lab workers and others. Of that 26,000, about 2,500 are classified as handicapped.
The saddest part in this whole mess is i’ve come to realize the government from federal to state to local are incapable of protecting anybody from any muslim setting out to do you harm. Only thing they will be good for is drawing a chalk line around your corpse.

The Federal Government only arms muslims and Mexican drug cartels. The Citizens of the United States, it[the Federal Government]is working, planning, scheming, and plotting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to disarm and render helpless to resist the muslim hordes.
So Islam(ists) can target everyday citizen infidels and everyday muslims do absolutely nothing.

The personal information appears to have been compiled from a website breach. One article described a business portal similar to LinkedIn, saying only that it dated back to 1999 and didn't name it.
Short version: this is just a form of digital terrorism, by bestowing fear among random people. But, the FBI's failure to notify the people named on these lists is making it worse, because now everyone wonders if their name is on the list.
However, there's a possibility that some homegrown terrorist will decide to assassinate a convenient target, just to impress his jihadi buddies.

“It all made sense to me after you called. The Army didn’t give me any detailed information. I didn’t even get advice on how to protect myself but I took my own precautions, which included removing a lot of information from social media sites, changing my driving patterns and keeping my doors and windows locked,” she explained.
The police department in Corpus Christi, where Amelia lives, also had no idea it had a citizen on the ISIS hit list until a call from Circa News prompted it to call the FBI.
“We were not contacted by the Army or the FBI referencing the threat to our citizen,” Police spokesman Chris Cooper said.
2) I've seen these particular kill lists. It's just a list of what looks like random people hacked from a websites membership roles. Not to be taken very seriously at all.

Well, I know that I’m on one of those list, because of my Army career. Actually, I found out for sure, from a friend of mine that was also on the list. I wound up having to notify the local Police myself. It was only then, that we certified that I was on it. I’ll Give you this. The Local Police Chief told me in no uncertain terms that they have my back and offered to help me anyway that they can. People, do not take this lightly. These Muslim savages are sick, demented, delusional murderers who will do whatever they can to screw our Country. Protect yourself, your family, your friends and neighbors. Watch out for them and take them down if they try anything. I an only talk about myself, but at least I have help. I hope everyone else in this situation can do the same.
The irony is that if ISIS murders more Americans - it will likely do so having been armed in a conflict that was manufactured with American tax dollars:
