Pope Francis Says You’re NOT Christian if You Support Gun Manufactures
Ammoland Shooting Sports News ^ | June 22, 2016 | Ammoland

Italy (Ammoland.com) Pope Francis spoke with a group of young people at a rally of thousands at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.

Francis started by attacking the Right to Keep and Bear Arms as well as accusing the allies during World War Two of being complicit in the killing of Jews, Christians and homosexuals.

Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry, saying.

“If you trust only men you have lost,” he told the young people in a long, rambling talk about war, trust and politics after putting aside his prepared address.

“It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn’t it?” he said to applause.

He also criticized those who invest in weapons industries (gun owners), saying “duplicity is the currency of today … they say one thing and do another.”

Francis also built on comments he has made in the past about events during the first and second world wars.

He spoke of the “tragedy of the Shoah,” using the Hebrew term for the Holocaust.

“The great powers had the pictures of the railway lines that brought the trains to the concentration camps like Auschwitz to kill Jews, Christians, homosexuals, everybody. Why didn’t they bomb (the railway lines)?”

It is surely an upside down world when the representative of G* on earth disparages the right to self defense and accuses the Greatest Generation of being complicit in Hitler’s genocide and the destruction of Europe and Russia.

Weird. I’ve been saying that you’re not a Christian if you support Socialist St. Frankie.

As a thankful Catholic convert I wish the pope would just preach Chris to a dying world.

He should know, because I have my sincere doubts he is a Christian.

Approval or disapproval by the Cardinals and Bishops is not required on any announcement by a sitting Pope. However, even the Papacy is a political office, and while the College of Cardinals is an almost glacially slow deliberative body, they still move.

Usually they wait until death overtakes the sitting Pope. There have been instances when the course of events is hastened a little, but of course, nobody speaks of the circumstances.

This is not the End Times, or at least, not quite yet.

But were I a gun manufacturer, I would not be in fear for my soul. It is a very moral and just thing to provide means for personal defense.

That not all men or women choose to use it for those purposes, falls not upon the manufacturer, but on the person who practices free will to defy convention and authority, and use the instrument badly. That is the soul that shall have to face the Thereafter.

It seems the world’s most rational leaders reside in Russia and China. The rest, including this Pope, are idiots.

“The great powers had the pictures of the railway lines that brought the trains to the concentration camps like Auschwitz to kill Jews, Christians, homosexuals, everybody. Why didn’t they bomb (the railway lines)?”

Pope asks a fair question. The answers that I've read revolve around limits in munitions (bombs) and aircraft shortages, and range all the way toward the difficulty in destroying rail lines without a sustained air campaign (re-strikes).

Why, when it comes to things like homosexual relations, we hear the Pope say, "who am I to judge?"

But when it comes to the ability to defend one's self, he not only judges, but declares them non-Christian if they own a firearm?
