I read the article which was the author’s opinion of an interview. I couldn’t find the actual interview so it’s hard to tell conjecture from truth.

They have not endorsed him (as of this morning at least). They all pledged to endorse the nominee, remember? The plan was to screw Trump out of potentially running 3rd party but, like so many of these central planning schemes, it has backfired on them.

Now Trump is saying “Fulfill your promise or else”, which he has every right to do as you can be sure they’d be saying to him if the situations were reversed.

I am sure there will be a number of people speaking who will denounce Trump.

Who is the nominee? I thought the nomination happened at the convention by the delegates? I assume Trump will be the Republican nominee and Hillary will be the Democrat nominee but they are not yet the nominees.

lol, this line of thinking/questioning is hilarious!
C’mon, who else is going to be the nominee and how exactly will they accomplish that task?

After the surgical procedure performed on Chris Wallace yesterday, Newt has solidified his slot on the short list.

As I already said...

I assume Trump will be the Republican nominee

You may not like the fact that Cruz hasn't endorsed him yet but he has broken no vow. If after the convention, Trump is the nominee (as I assume will happen) then Cruz should endorse him. If he doesn't he will have broken his vow. I was replying to a post which indicated Cruz had broken a vow. He has not.

Why would Trump want them to speak at his convention. They are losers!

Reagan wasn’t nominated in 1968 or 1976. Was he a loser?

I am just trying to play the bash Cruz game. It is fun to be nonsensical on occasion.

"Reagan wasn’t nominated in 1968 or 1976. Was he a loser?"

Reagan, as the runner-up, blew '76 behind the scenes at the convention -- oh, the irony!

Your boy couldn't hold it together that long! May 3rd, 2016 will always be remembered as EndTedependence Day!

TECHNICALLY they can wait till the vote goes down and still keep the promise. And fine. But TECHNICALLY then Donald could already pick other people.

Everybody’s mugging for the camera, it seems.

I noticed that too, but who reads the story? :)

However, I believe in fact that Romney controlled the National Convention and the Rules Committee made that possible for him.

Romney, however, did not have a Rules Committee nearly full of his opponents, as is the case for TRUMP, this July.

Lots of words nitz, much of which means zip.

Cruz is not a man of his word, to the casual observer, he is behaving like a spoiled pouting loser.

Good close the door on them Donald, because for years they have been slamming it on us.

What has got me about; Cruz, Ryan, Kristol, Will, Kruthammer, Bonior, McCain, Levin, Rush, Beck and a host of other characters is this.

I can get their Trump Derangement Syndrome, what I can't get is their inability to get over it and it is why I am done with all of them.

Not to play armchair shrink here even though I stayed at a Holiday Express last night, is that I am not sure they have worked through the 5 stages of grief, but let me give them the benefit of the doubt and say they have.

Insteadm they have now gone to a compulsive obsessive behavior of not being about to let go of their hatred, angst or what ever their issue is about Trump and they are starting to remind of of the Inspector in the Pink Panther Movie where he ended up in a Straight-Jacket.

IMHO they are almost their....

A “big tent” is simply not Trump’s style. Lean, mean, and glittery.

>>Where is he being globalist? We have to establish that before assuming it.<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Cruz is a globalist because he backed TPP, and because he attacked Trump during the debates for wanting to use Tariffs to stop the hemorrhaging of jobs and correct the massive Trade deficits with several countries.

He also showed his globalist stripes when he attacked Trump over NATO. (Came across like Merkel/Bush on that one.)

Globalism is anti-American, by definition. It seeks to put authority in international bodies (like the WTO) that are not answerable to American voters or the Constitution.

It seeks to put American military under international control.

I consider it a LIE for Cruz to refer to himself as a Constitutionalist. He is an anti-Constitutionalist.

I understand the “Brand” of Constitutionalist is something many people justifiably WANT. I do to. But this is a fraud.
