MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) -- A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at the gate of a Mogadishu hotel, followed by a second explosion heard inside the hotel as gunmen fought their way inside, police said Saturday. At least four bodies were seen outside the hotel, one officer said.

There are plenty in South America or other parts of Africa. They have great natural resources but can’t seem ever to climb out of the hole.
My concern level for Somalis are more than cockroaches but less than rats.

Somalia has a climate like California, a population density like Colorado and 2000 miles of coastline astride one of the busiest trade routes in the world.

If you had to give a one word answer it would be tribalism. Tribalism is the dysfunction that magnifies and opens the door for the many other ills in Africa.
Note to self: Cancel week-long walking tour of Mogadishu and cancel hotel reservations there.
Loretta Lynch, speaking on behalf of the WH, issued a statement urging the Somali government to proceed with caution. She stressed the official US policy of “Make Love, Not War” because “What the World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love.” Ultimately “Love Will Keep us Together”.
There goes my vacation plans.
