LGBT Movement
I'm curious because I've probably been in the dark to long about what is happening at my kids schools and in public, but I was blasted with a INTER-COMPANY blog (yammer if you are familiar) asking to support LGBT in light of Orlando.
I find this sick and offensive that they take a tragedy to further their cause. But honestly, it's hard to find the true goals that LGBT seeks to attain. I know what LGBT is, and have no support as I find it like the typical leftist organizations - force people to see things their way or make laws to punish you if you don't. I also fear reprisal from my company if I would stand up to this group.
I was shocked to see this on the intercompany web site. So now as a country or company we've gone far beyond tolerating bisexuals and transgenders to asking for money to support them? What the hell??
I'm confused and angry at the moment that the ideal put forth in the blog is "well of course you want to support LGBT". My fear is that if I complain that it is offensive, I could be fired for not being "diverse". My core fear is the USA see's this as acceptable.
I would feel better if this post was taken off my company website. It is a private matter, not something to be trolling for money.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. If you're not, it's just an abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

That's easy. SEX, of literally all kinds, on demand, and without consequences or restriction of any sort. If there are consequences, someone ELSE is to pay for them and accept judgement.
Just wear a button to work that says “White, Christian, hetero & PROUD!”

I’m often confused and upset too. For years I’ve felt like an Eskimo trapped in the body of a white male. I’m sure there are many other Transkimo’s out there.

No, not being sarcastic. I know the acronym and ran across many who espouse views and behaviors where extremely offensive is putting it lightly. Thanks all for supportive words. I was simply shocked as work is NOT the place for this. That is my main grievance.

Not only is this a private matter and should not appear on my co website, but it is offensive to me that 1. People would use the tragedy to further their cause, and 2. that it’s acceptable to ask for support on my co website of bisexual and transgender behavior. Throw in the Q to if you want.
