Sadly the Millenial skulls o' mush over there voted overwhelmingly to remain in the E.U. Easier travel to hash cafes in Amsterdam and all that.

It seems that it was mostly the millennials who wanted to remain in the EU. They fear that their future of being students for free until they get tired of that, followed with a nice fat pension with no work in between is in jeopardy.

American millennials are really starting to fear the same fate might be in store for them as well... the idea of working instead of being perpetual students, artists, writers, bloggers, "observers of humanity", etc. is pretty scary.

I suppose in a way that is not very surprising. After all; it is my understanding with the EU, it is the elderly and middle class who would lose the most with the union.

The young can’t imagine a life without the EU overlords or remember one, so they mainly voted to stay while calling their elders racist. Luckily for them, there were enough older people that remembered and dreamed.
