I suppose in a way that is not very surprising. After all; it is my understanding with the EU, it is the elderly and middle class who would lose the most with the union.
It's like illegal aliens. The more you bring in, the more they vote against America. Government employee will vote for more power/benefits and more tax money every time. Bet the rent.
