Five reasons Brexit could signal Trump winning the White House
BBC ^ | June 20,2016 | Katy Kay

A victory for Brexit next week by no means guarantees a Trump victory in the autumn. However, if the forces of disgruntlement, nationalism, populism and anti-globalisation are strong enough to force a radical move in the UK, they may be strong enough to force a radical election in America too.

"And, finally, populism loves simplicity, especially, it seems, when it's dressed up with an impressively wacky hair do. Boris Johnson and Donald Trump appeal to the heart not the head, they offer simple solutions in a time of complex problems."

Our 'superiors' can't resist making condescending comments toward the common man. Yes, we simpletons in the general population are just so much less educated than you geniuses with your journalism degrees, we require everything to be boiled down in the most simple terms so that our pea-brains can understand.

Jerks.

It does signal that polls are useless. Not a single one got numbers right.
C'mon, not a single one?

I saw a picture of him on CNN as the probable next PM. Lol, I immediately looked at him, especially his hair, and thought of Trump and laughed.

When we declared independence England went to war in a attempt to keep us in.

Let’s hope the rest of the EU doesn’t follow suit.

I think the pollsters still haven’t caught up with the fact that land-line telephones are a thing for the elderly.

Our 'superiors' can't resist making condescending comments toward the common man.

Well even conservative elites like Uncle Levin and Hugh Hewitt think us simpleton plebes are too stupid to understand the nuances of de Tocqueville and Adam Smith. Damn our populism and not trusting predatory Darwinian capitalism aka trusting multinational corporations to do the right thing. Levin and Hewitt show a naivety about the human condition, that simply leaving a rigged system to do what it wants is the road to freedom and prosperity for a majority of US citizens. Like Fabian Socialism, laissez faire is a dinosaur also. Levin and Hewitt are part of the problem, not the solution. Funny listened to Levin this week, he's been conspicuously silent on Brexit. He's a big baby contrarian. Trump for Brexit so therefore Levin can't possibly be for it enthusiastically. No wonder Uncle Levin's wife left him. Imagine living with that know it all narcissistic blowhard.

If tptb could not derail brexit with massive fraud, perhaps they won’t be able to steal another us election

The article is by Katy Kay (an appropriate first name, don’t you think?) former hair care model, BBC anchor and Morning Joe talking head.

That explains the juvenile nature of her article.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Only **if** the elections are honestly conducted and votes honestly counted. Personally...I am not hopeful about that happening.
