There was a scheme to have approved marches over a bridge that will be closed to traffic. Besides being logistically weird (march starting at one side of the Cuyahoga and ending on the other), NOBODY would be able to see it.

I don't like the judge telling Cleveland and the RNC how to keep things safe, of course not. But the marches over the bridge? That's a bit much.

If it had been the DNC Rats, this would have never seen the light of day in a courtroom.

In 2004 Democrat Mayor (Mumbles) Menino gave protestors a chain link cage within which to stage protests outside the Democrat National Convention. The courts let him get away with that.

exactly what I would suggest.

letting these freaks protest anywhere they want and act anyway that want will cause them to be run over by MC’s trying to earn their patches. The local peace offices just make an executive decision to um... NOT BE ORLANDO and just let bad $h1t happen.

There are no GOP cities

Minorities own or heavily influence every major US city hence there you go

Even Salt Lake.....nearly 40% non white

Dallas was conservative once staunchly

San Diego too

” they have no intention of letting the protesters get within half a mile of the venues.”

And what if the GOPe scum pull some crap and throw the nomination to Senor Jeb? It is we the people who will be restrained from taking action.

What about that part of the Constitution that states in part: The peaceful redress of grievances and all that. One group/party is more equal than another?

"..There are no GOP cities.."

I guess ya have a point there.
What a sad statement.

Would it be overly optimistic to say we've got'em surrounded then? d;^)

“letting these freaks protest anywhere they want and act anyway that want will cause them to be run over by MC’s trying to earn their patches.”

So, you think leftard rioters being suppressed by bikers would be a bad thing?

Why?

He is thinking that he is going to do everything in his power to make it easier for the Communists to kill or seriously injure Republican Convention attendees. They need to change cities immediately.

Let them protest all they want within the law. However, have a massive security presence with instructions to detain/arrest anyone and everyone who gets out of line, a zero tolerance policy. Also have an abundance of vans and buses to transport them to an outdoor detention facility built for this event that has space enough to hold thousands, along the lines of Sheriff Joe’s tent city.

We, are the new Jews. As evidenced in California, we no longer are entitled to the protection of the law.

I don’t understand. It says the judge struck down Cleveland’s rules limiting protests. In other words, Cleveland can NOT prevent people from protesting. Why isn’t that a good thing?

Maybe I got too hot earlier working out in the yard.

Judgie wants mayhem at the convention.

From a purely political perspective, I think major unrest will work toward the GOP's favor. In times of unrest, people move toward safety and security and that would be toward republicans.

The City should carry on with its plan full-speed ahead.

Let him throw the entire city government plus in-state and out-of-state law enforcement/security plus any National Guard into the slammer after the convention if they ignore his insane ruling.

BTW, how many legions does the Judge have?

I think we should take it out of Ohio all together...KaSick can have his own convention, that way Bushes, Romneys, Clintons, Cruzbots, Ryans and others can have at it...

Where ever Reince is, he’s the head of the RNC, so that’s where the convention will be...
