Paul Ryan Says Democratic ‘Stunt’ Is Not ‘A Proud Moment For Democracy’(dumbass!)

House Speaker Paul Ryan on Thursday reacted to the Democratic sit-in on the floor of the House of Representatives over gun control by saying: “I don’t think this should be a very proud moment for democracy or the people who staged these stunts.”

In his weekly press conference at the Capitol, Ryan said: “This is the people’s house. This is Congress, the House of Representatives, the oldest democracy in the world, and they’re descending it into chaos.”

Personally, I think this stunt was pulled to distract attention for Trump having taken a blowtorch to Clinton’s a$$, and her failed response, and Ryan went along with that goal.

I’ve been thinking the same thing ever since I saw Hillary and Pelosi walking out of her office just before Trump gave his speech.

“Blowtorch”....LOL!

Toss in fumigation bombs and chain the doors shut. Pest control, not gun control.

And I thought Boehner was a gutless, inept piece of crap! Ryan is killing his future political ambitions one slice at a time and on a daily basis - and I’m just fine with it.

And he did not have the balls to request the sergeant-at-arms to throw them out.

Pelosi has his gonads locked up in her office. She is still running the House, Ryan is speaker in name only.

Very little info coming over Utah news about this little gathering, and that’s the reason why...

RINO RYAN is taking his orders from Barky and ‘Rat’ Romney and Hillary herself!!!

DUMP THE RINO RYAN IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN!!!

I like how all the media is reporting that the GOP “shut down the cameras”. That is a bunch of bull. Since the inception of cameras in the House, the House rules have been that the cameras are only on when the House is in session. The House had adjourned - thus no cameras. Now if the Dems really wanted to get their point of view across - without pulling this publicity stunt- they could have requested special orders after the close of legislative business. The cameras would have still been on and each member could have requested up to an hour to speak ( I am sure there is a total limit - probably to the end of the legislative day )

Why hasn't Ryan used the Capitol Police to escort them out? They don't have the floor?

Ryan is a weak minded jackass and supports so much the communists Democrats want that he speaks strong but does nothing.

I beg to differ. No stunt here. A well coordinated campaign to maximize exposure and milk an issue for donations.

This thread needs more cowbells BoToX!!

None of those dumbchuck’s are leader type individuals. Their strength is community organizing ..... they are NOTHING without the media “constantly” propping them up.

Like Clint Eastwood demonstrated, an empty chair/s. HA

Is it because he is a pus*y? Or a Democrat himself?

Why limit yourself to either/or when both are obviously true?

The Dumbass Dems are stuck in adolescence of 1960s. Ryan should do what Reagan did. As Governor of California.

His action regarding students getting in the way of other students right to attend classes, is what brought him to my attention. Right then and there, I said I hope he runs for President.

The Dems are acting like spoiled bRATS with no sign of intelligent life.

Unless congress recently changed something, this ain't a democracy.

No, as a nation, we are a republic. That said, Congress operates under democratic rules. How Congress operates, and how we govern as a nation are two different things.

Actually, he just decided to come out into the open. No one that professes to be a conservative for decades can suddenly become a Hillary supporter, IMO.

Just like Romney and the rest of the faux-conservatives....they are what they need to be, to justify their present agenda.

Well he’s a dumbass, because what he should have done is called the Sergeant at Arms in to restore order and arrest the idiots who are violating the rules of congress..

That would have been the end of this, but he doesn’t have the balls to do it, so we have basically children having their way.

Now, why was this not done? Ryan should answer this question. Or the answers are either, he’s too stupid to know this is a possibility, to scared of the political fallout if he did, or he agrees with the Dems and thinks their chaos will provide him some benefit.

All of which are foolish.

since the inception of cameras in the House, the House rules have been that the cameras are only on when the House is in session.

Not true.

Some of us are old enough to remember Special Orders, man they were fun. We remember when Tip O'nell in a rage one night went to the House and ordered the C-Span cameras be turned toward the gallery to show no one was in the House.

B1 Bomber Bob Dornan was one of my favorite rabble rousers. He pointed out one night, how Congress not only had the power to pass laws that were not subject to Supreme Court Judicial Review, but they had done so some 130 times.

I bought a 10 foot dish nearly 40 years ago just to watch C-SPAN, Well I watched a few movie channels too before they encrypted everything, including C-SPAN.
