The specter of Donald Trump’s presidential nomination being ripped from under him in a nastily contested Republican National Convention next month is alive — again.
Anti-Trump forces appeared to have been defeated after he ousted his remaining opponents from the race in early May and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus all signaled that Mr. Trump had sewn things up.
But weeks of bad press stemming from Mr. Trump’s criticism of a federal judge and uneven handling in the aftermath of the Orlando, Florida, terrorist shooting have kick-started efforts to deny Mr. Trump the nomination on the convention floor.

If Trump loses the rules will be written to prevent another Trump, especially if he loses by a lot.
If Trump wins, he'll be rewriting the rules to benefit himself and nobody's going to be able to rewrite the rules to favor the old establishment.
One of my concerns is that Trump will be a lame duck right out of the chute.
OTOH, as time goes on, the people who are against the nation are being revealed one by one. They can be voted out IF Americans keep informed and are aware of the game being played. Whether or not they are up for election this year or not is a different story.
Of the three men listed in the OP, all are failures of mega magnitudes. They failed to win a presidency, they failed to serve the people, they failed to serve the nation, and with any luck at all, they’ll fail in their attempts to quash Trump AND hopefully, fail to be re-elected.
It’s amazing how strongly Political Correctness is being foisted onto the nation, and by both sides, and we thought it was just coming from the liberal left.
Something Alexander the great knew..change the language. When you conquer a nation, you change the language. When you do, you change the mind/mentality. There’s a lot of history that goes along with this very concept.
The question is, WHO exactly are we being conquered by, and why?
Obviously, someone is at war with us, seeks to disarm us, seeks to control the language, and the mind. It’s something NOT American, and that’s why Trump is being quashed. They do NOT want him to resurrect America.
The one way in which ‘’they’’ benefit through all of this is to see how the people are feeling, and how well assimilated we all are to their plan.I think they liked the apathy we were under, and they don’t want the sheep to have a shepherd.
We may not know exactly who ‘they’ is, but we’re begining to see who their minons are.

Such a move would be the end of the GOP as a political party. Just as the cancellation of election by Obama would end the Democrat Party.
