Three people were arrested with several loaded pistols, rifles and bullet-resistant vests in a the Holland Tunnel that connects New Jersey to New York City, NBC 4 New York reported. Police initially stopped them for driving with a cracked windshield.
The three individuals were traveling to New York on Tuesday, but were stopped around 7:40 a.m. on the New Jersey side of the tunnel. A search of their vehicle revealed the cache of the combat gear, which a police photograph showed including a shotgun, a scoped rifle, knives, multiple pistols and several ammunition magazines.
Drugs were also recovered from the vehicle, authorities said.
Two senior law enforcement officials say the three suspects are so-called “gun enthusiasts” and have no nexus to terror. There is no known threat.

Why would they have ballistics vests? Seems to be more than gun enthusiasts.
More likely they were under suspicion before this.

Now the same link has replaced that line with this line:

That’s extremely fast work on the part JTTF. Doubt we will hear any more about this incident-— down the rabbit hole.
I see no violation of law. I see it was prudent to investigate. But these folks are going home. Move on to real TERRORISM from Islam.

Looks like a single person's traveling collection who has a dark bit of humor to put a Breaking Bad style sticker on an ammo can (probably a gift.)
Crime: Believing that the 2nd amendment applies in NY or NJ. Punishment: Confiscation of weapons, felony conviction to ban any further ownership, loss of car, fine & a few months of jail time.
Well, it would be excellent advertising. I certainly wouldn't want to buy heroin from a possibly shady source.
Actually I think that’s a bottle opener. I saw one like it for sale at a gas station this past weekend.

Not a wise thing to be carrying along with other guns. Maybe they were going to mount it on the roof like a pizza delivery vehicle and thought it would get them through traffic faster.
