Father Of Orlando Victim: I Wish Someone Else In That Club Had A Gun
The Federalist ^ | 20 June 2016 | Bre Payton

A father of one of the Orlando victims penned a letter expressing the wish that his son had been armed at the gay nightclub where 49 people were killed and another 53 were injured last week.

In a letter published by The Detroit News, Mark Bando decried gun control policies for disarming people like his son, Christopher Andrew Leinonen, who was shot and killed by a terrorist last week at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

“The killer was armed and his helpless victims were not,” Bando wrote. “Yet the anti gun politicians still want to disarm the populace, enabling these scenarios. It is likely such attacks will continue, until the victims start shooting back. That’s the lesson I take from this, for what it’s worth. When the shooting started Saturday night, I’ll bet there wasn’t a person in the club who wouldn’t have traded everything he owned in the world, for a loaded gun.”

Gee, Senator Murphy, why don't you speak to Mr. Bando since you made reference to the parents of the victims in Orlando? Would you really prefer that more Americans stand around helpless waiting to be shot by the purveyors of the "Religion of Peace"?

How about a filibuster against terrorists and the importation of more of them? How about a filibuster until the government begins to acknowledge that there is a direct link between terrorism and Islam?

As an aside, I should acknowledge that I first heard of this story on Jim Quinn’s show this morning.

Another gun free zone is the scene of a mass murder. Sober people should be allowed to carry in a bar.

As for the politicians all they want to do is disarm the law abiding citizens who demand a law abiding government. Never let a crisis go to waste.

An obvious Islamaphobe, How dare he suggest that Infidels be allowed to stop Peaceful Muslims from practicing their deeply held religious beliefs. They have every right to Eradicate Gays and Non Muslims. Just ask Obama.

OMG, can you imagine the carnage if more than one person had a gun?
Thousands of people could have died with all those bullets flying around.

(Taking off my crazy lib hat now.)

I think the suicide vest was a sham designed to give the murderer time to aim.

“Don’t attack me or I’ll set off this bomb! In the meantime, let me fire some more rounds into people.”

It is a strategy that must be overcome.

If we just Amended the US Constitution to “Guarantee Equal Protection under the Law” we wouldn’t have to worry about all these laws granting special class protection and special rights for certain classes of people. The Law would be the same FOR ALL PERSONS, Including Special Government Agents.

Bill Clinton said more people would have died, if patrons of the club had been armed. He said more would have been shot. I guess he thinks it is best for everyone to be a sitting duck rather than fight back.

I remember some of the old western Tv shows in which a gun toting rifleman would be setting above a bar looking for troublemakers.
And the barkeep always had a shotgun handy.

Which is why the Senate should have responded to their latest Gun Control push an amendment ELIMINATING SECRET SERVICE PROTECTION for EX PRESIDENTS!

Like the one-in-a-thousand gay pastors that get wall-to-wall MSM coverage, you won’t hear a peep in the MSM from this poor guy.

“Sober people should be allowed to carry in a bar.”

Exactly. If a person is planning to drink, they DO NOT carry (at least in public). I’m fairly certain most state laws say the same. If a person is NOT going to be drinking, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be allowed to carry. Now, if a drinking establishment, or any privately owned place, doesn’t want to allow people to be armed on their private property, that is their prerogative, and people need to respect that, as well as decide if they want to go into a place where the owners do not support the 2A. It’s really quite simple.

There was a thread yesterday where people were posting that perhaps only the DJ’s, bartender’s, owners, security, or variations there of should be allowed to carry. No, it’s really simple. The owner can either allow or disallow CC onto their property, and a person who carries needs to be responsible enough to NOT drink at all while carrying regardless of where they are going.

Yep, could be. Bill has said some bizarre things during this campaign.

He looks terrible. He looks like he’s ill with some condition.

Not predicting or anything, but, would not be shocked at all, if the news came out soon that Bill had passed away. Would not be shocked at all.
