Another gun free zone is the scene of a mass murder. Sober people should be allowed to carry in a bar.

As for the politicians all they want to do is disarm the law abiding citizens who demand a law abiding government. Never let a crisis go to waste.

Works for me.

If we just Amended the US Constitution to “Guarantee Equal Protection under the Law” we wouldn’t have to worry about all these laws granting special class protection and special rights for certain classes of people. The Law would be the same FOR ALL PERSONS, Including Special Government Agents.

“Sober people should be allowed to carry in a bar.”

Exactly. If a person is planning to drink, they DO NOT carry (at least in public). I’m fairly certain most state laws say the same. If a person is NOT going to be drinking, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be allowed to carry. Now, if a drinking establishment, or any privately owned place, doesn’t want to allow people to be armed on their private property, that is their prerogative, and people need to respect that, as well as decide if they want to go into a place where the owners do not support the 2A. It’s really quite simple.

There was a thread yesterday where people were posting that perhaps only the DJ’s, bartender’s, owners, security, or variations there of should be allowed to carry. No, it’s really simple. The owner can either allow or disallow CC onto their property, and a person who carries needs to be responsible enough to NOT drink at all while carrying regardless of where they are going.

I worked in bars for 20 years. Every single place I worked had a gun behind the bar and another in the office.
Guess I worked for responsible bar owners.
