Echo chamber journalists are the best aren’t they?

“Like Hillary, Chelsea is neither an inspirational nor a motivational speaker. But her soothing aspect is strangely compelling, like that of a meditation guide or a priest. “

And someone collected a paycheck for this.

Nobody in their right mind gives two shirts what this spawn of Webb Hubbell does or does not do.

The White House dog is off the lease, now, let her bark at the damned moon, fer Pete's sake.

Chelsea Clinton, the designated fall girl for the Clinton Foundation.
Just watch, mommy and daddy will pin all blame on her
if indictments come down.

I can’t help but feeling a bit sorry when I look at Chelsea. She didn’t get her father’s oily charm or even her mother’s ruthless ambition. I’m guessing if she had her way she would be sitting on a tropical island spending all that ill gotten Clinton Foundation cash on cocktails, but alas it’s not to be, mom and dad have decided she’s going to follow in the family footsteps, lack of natural political skill or charisma be damned.

. In this way, too, she is very much her mother’s child. Methodical, deliberate, cautious, detail-oriented, and disciplined, she tries to keep an iron grip on her own narrative.

I'm trying to keep an iron grip on my stomach ... if I read much more of this dreck, I'll fail.

Sounds like she's somnolent.

Methodical, deliberate, cautious, detail-oriented, and disciplined, she tries to keep an iron grip on her own narrative. Journalists pose a constant threat to that control.

What journalists are they talking about? She and her parents have enjoyed a sycophantic, even fawning press since they first came on the public scene.

Well, I girded myself and went over and read the whole thing. I have to say that it is the most fawning puff piece I have ever read, truly cringe inducing. Of note was this:

Poised. This is the word used to describe Chelsea more often than any other. Friends praise her as thoughtful, genuine, gracious, hardworking, brilliant, passionate about her causes, and, as is de rigeur for famous people one is aiming to humanize, down-to-earth.

It reminds me of the recitation that Army colleagues of Raymond Shaw stated in The Manchurian Candidate.

“I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel

You were talkin’ so brave and so sweet

Givin’ me head on the unmade bed

While the limousines wait in the street”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4P95cJ-XTc

Then again,

Some will call her “Natasha when she looks like Elsie”

“I don’t want to go to Chelsea”
