Staunch dems, lots of womyn, illegals, islam scum and pajama boys will be the only people voting for cankles.

Hopefully there are enough Americans and faithful willing to ignore Trumps live and live attitude to save our country.

It’s not complicated at all...vote Trump or watch America dissolve into welfare and multicultural suicide.

Part of the need for sustainability comes from the experience of living in a basement or spare bedroom without an income or very little income and being at the economic mercy of parents and the nanny state. You get 235 in food stamps and that’s it.

a lot of people cannot get jobs no matter how much they really do want to work.
a LOT!!!!!

also, a lot of people prefer a life of leisure on the dole....and do not want to work (ask any business person who’s tried to hire)...

this is BOTH a very very very depressed economy with very few jobs in it (a few locations or specializations exepted)........ AND an economy with far too many freeloaders-by-choice

meanwhile, Obama continues to flood USA with his millions of IslamoNazi enemy terrorist type young men of military age........plus our borders have been opened up to millions of other (not dangerous) immigrants from other places...(many of whom our “American” employers hire in preference to American citizens)

This is what I say to the Millennials who read that book, Ready Player One.

So do you believe it? Is that’s what’s going to happen? If so, how can you combat it? What do the democrats say?

Oh, they’ll say, “Cut back, before it’s too late. Stop using oil now. Stop burning fossil fuels!”

But did you notice, in the book, where Wade was being told about how wonderful America was BEFORE we ran out of fossil fuels?

So what the democrats are telling you is you only have two choices, stop everything, and live like Wade NOW. Or wait until we run out and then you’ll HAVE to.

Not a very rosy picture is it?

So why, instead of agreeing with them, not try a different way? A way in which we simply look at the problem optimistically, roll up our sleeves, and fix things?

A couple of decades ago, they said we’d run out of oil by now. Well, we haven’t. We found so much in fact, we just had a plunge in worldwide prices. We more oil in the USA now than we did 20 years ago. We’re finding more, learning how to get out more of it, and using the resource to invent new ways of getting energy. Not some silly way either, like tearing up the desert to put in 20,000 environmentally nasty—manufactured for slave wages in horrific conditions in China—solar panels and destroy all the rare desert wild life, or huge robotic wind mills that are wrecking havoc with birds and bats, killing millions...

No, using smarter technologies. Molten salt reactors and other SAFE nuclear energy. Programming automated systems to use energy more efficiently than any human could do. Using better, more long lasting batteries, capacitors and distribution systems, just to name a few.

The sky really can be the limit, but it won’t happen with government in charge. Why? Because they WANT to BE in charge. The product is not the end game, being in control is the end game.

Smart business people’s end game is a profit—nothing wrong with it—the profit potential spurs them on to make things better, faster, cheaper—and, if that’s important to you and it should be, more efficient, sustainable and cost effective. They don’t make things people do not want, because they don’t sell, and therefore—ta da!—no profit.

Look at what business-driven technology has given us over the past 200 years. But NOT government!!! Yeah, government DOES have a way to spur technological development, but that is due to their need to control. And when they can’t control, they oppress. And when others oppose the oppression, they fight. And then you have war. So government’s best technological efforts are designed to kill people better, to control them better, to enslave them. And the democrats want your vote, so they, not business, gets to make all the decisions.

Are you sure you’ve really thought this all through?

Rush should finish reading the novel instead of taking a shortcut.

I concur. The first bit of any well-written novel is only setting the stage and introducing the main characters and hints at the overall storyline. It being Sci-Fi only exacerbates the problem, IMHO.

I’ll agree and sort of disagree: any novel must be written to market.

Kline knows exactly who his potential readers are.

"Rush missed the whole point of Ready Player One."

He also missed the meta takeaway, not suprisingly.

Trump does not need to +1 Millenials, just 0. Stay home, search for the Easter egg, play another stupid game on Twitch, just don't vote.

And why not vote? Because Trump spent the last half of summer driving a permanent wedge between Cankles and the Bernbros, by showing that she would not and could not live up to all of Bern's promises. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

Let her outspend Trump in the finals.

Let her yammering mouth be all OVER the media.

Then...

Kids; does this remind you of Mom?

Do you REALLY want 4 years of her nagging at you to cleanup your act? Telling you what is GOOD for you and how YOU should follow her orders?
