That’s a lot of money for setting up pinata factories.
“That $70 million will not create 1 job. This is money laundering for the democrat party members.”
Nothing more needs to be posted on this thread. You have said it all.
Green mfg usually costs more and doesn’t work as well.
It will not help businesses.
Also, $140M is a drop in the bucket.
I'm in the business. I think Rockwell (Allen Bradley), and Siemens are doing just fine thank you.
Now if the government wants to develop a sensor to know if the $600 toilet seat was left up or down in the transgender bathroom, someone needs to tell them that it runs about $83 each, and I can network them with IP Addresses via Control Logix to report directly to the Whitehouse Czar of Gender Identity's desk for another $1,200 and about $2,500 of non recurring development costs.
Gee, what happened to Obama’s “laserlike focus” on jobs? And for that matter, why hasn’t his Jobs Council met in six months?
Obama used to say jobs were the first thing he thought about after waking up, and the last thing he thought about before tucking in.
time to upgrade Roger Miller’s line:
...hot dawg, my laser’s broke
But I don’t care, let it all hang out....
Another “Solyndra” in the making.
New hub in LA? Watts up wit dat?
Yeah, the money will be squandered, but some of the well-connected will walk away happy.
...for that matter, Roger Miller’s “Dang Me” has a timely refrain...
“...ought to take a rope and hang me”
Yep.
They spent decades driving manufacturing out of the LA basin. This is $70million for making new rules for the sake of getting rid of the rest.
it is money for the pockets of loyal supporters that bought up closed plants and need to sell them
the Democrat party is a criminal enterprise
LA was a great manufacturing center. There some things still there.
I had many clients there. Huge users of machine tools, plenty of light industry and precision shops.
The Westec machine tool show was always in LA.
What a crock. Since the beginning of the first cave man making a stick manufacturers have attempted to minimize waste and increase efficiency. This is definitely a pay off to someone.
Absolutely, no doubt of that.
Or all of the money will go to no-worker robot-using factories to lessen the shipping costs from China...
None of whom have ever donated or would ever consider donating to the Democrat party... (/s)
Yeah, but according to him and fauxcahuantus nobody built it. At least you didn’t build it. Nope, some un-named source built that.
It would be cheaper just to pay them to vote for Hillary.
But that might draw a second look from John Cronyn.
On second thought John would never figure it out.
Yes, that's the one.
Anything called “Smart” with “Public-Private Partnership” is a loser money sink that will produce nothing.
