Germany is becoming much more violent and for a very similar reason for the violence in USA.
Children should be given trauma programming “shocks” such as corporal punishment for later maleability. This is how you make them smarter and more neurotic.
I admit, I was a “difficult” child. When it came to breaking a rule, my first rule was look around and see if anybody’s watching,not “is this right or wrong”.
I was spanked, with Father’s belt, but there was a process. I was usually spanked for something that happened while he was at work. When he got home Mother Father and I sat down and discussed my “bad”. Then a decision on how many licks. Bent over the bed and took them.Father seemed to dislike it but he went at it with a will.
Then it was done, all over, never mentioned again. Hardly some daily beating, I can remember every one, and why. May well have kept me out of prison.

Little-known and -acknowledged FACT is that the US is saturated with German blood, Germans being THE #1 all-time immigrant group from day 1. Our culture is HEAVILY influenced by German culture.

I think you are confusing recent PC trends with deep-seated cultural traditions. You won’t find “lack of physical punishment” in German roots.

Sounds like the way I got it too. I wasn’t spanked out of anger. I was always sat down and explained to. My dad hated doing it though, I could tell it would upset him. I never understood that until I had kids and had to spank them. It breaks my heart, but I do it anyways. I’m too soft on the inside heh.
I lived in Germany for three years and saw so many German moms just wailing on their kids.

Actually, no, blacks tend to be very violent with kids. They beat them for every stupid thing. They really do learn violence partly from that, because it’s all they know.
Physical punishment is actually important, but it cannot be constant beatings for no good reason.

Germans are so wussified they won’t even fly their own flag. I had a guy from Germany stop in front of my house, amazed I was flying it with the American flag. I was shocked.
The greatest Generation not only voted heavily for communist principles, but raised the Worst Generation with those Spock principles and began the cycle.
The GG is the Founding Gen. They had much more at stake and did a better job passing down their great tradition.
