WikiLeaks has issued an encrypted file for download as a kind of “torrent insurance” ahead of its public release of potentially damning documents. As previously discussed on Inquisitr, Guccifer 2.0’s hack of the DNC servers have already revealed possible collusion between the Hillary Clinton campaign, the mainstream media, and Democratic Party leadership.
While the DNC has neither confirmed nor denied the authenticity of these preliminary releases, WikiLeaks’s torrent insurance prior to the actual document dump could indicate the presence of damaging evidence on Clinton, and possibly even the Obama administration.
Famed government whistleblower Edward Snowden tweeted out a message regarding the data breach, noting its significance for more than just the documents themselves.

I think for something like that to work it would go into a count down mode and the data not be necessarily be instantly released. Even though can be done. Doing it with a countdown would probably help avoid accidental life changing events if system accidents occurred and data was prematurely dumped.
So, basically, this is not like some TV show or movie where the ‘good guy’ has the secret info on ONE thumb drive.
They are spreading the wealth, so to speak, to anyone who wants the documents. The documents, however, are currently encrypted. If something happens [this is just like a suspense movie] to any of the main players, the documents are automatically decrypted.
In TV/Movie land, the ‘good guy’ would send the thumb drive to the media.
In Realto land, the media are part of the crime syndicate.
The BIG QUESTION: Will CNN run the countdown clock for the document dump?
