If you haven’t been keeping up with the gun control debate following the Orlando terrorist attack, many democratic senators are conducting a filibuster of sorts to demand banning certain types of weapons. Illinois senator, Dick Durbin, apparently couldn’t resist speaking on the topic either.
Ironically, every word that left Dick Durbin’s mouth made him look like a complete jackass. He claimed that no self-respecting sportsman in his home state of Illinois would ever use an ‘AR-47’ to hunt deer.
Senator Durbin is actually correct for two major reasons.
First of all, there’s no such thing as an ‘AR-47.’ There’s an AR-15. There’s an AK-47. But nope, no AR-47’s. So clearly nobody could ever use a rifle to hunt deer that doesn’t even exist. Sorry Dick.

AR-47's are notoriously hard to photograph. They tend to escape to the sewer systems of major cities and jump out and scare children.
And did you know that each round comes equipped with its own bayonet? Just to cause more damage, you know ....
It truly is. We’ve seen reports where the gun just up and loads itself and attacks its owner. It does it without provocation, too. It’s the Pit Bull of evil black assault mass murder rifles.
What Durbin is pretending not to know is that the Second Amendment has a different purpose than putting venison on the table. Deer are not a threat to "the security of a free State".
If Durbin the Dick wants to know what is a threat to our country's security, he should look in a mirror or look at other democrats (and some republicans) who want to trample our individual, God-given rights. I don't care whether he thinks my pump-action Glock is really an AR-47 or an AK-47, but I do care whether he thinks it's worth trying to pry that so-called "assault weapon" from my cold dead hands.

True ... true ... AR-47s are notoriously prone to go feral the minute that they are purchased. Generally, they only remain passive while still in a gun sales case. The minute the case is opened, they all try to escape to the wild, to live out their lengthy lives by killing everything in sight ...

What is it with leftists and hunting? Nowhere in the constitution does it say we have the right to bear arms just to go hunting.
The 2nd Amendment doesn’t say that we only have the right to bear arms only to shoot deer.

Let’s go back in time and give every last one of those gays in Orlando an AR-47 right before the Islamo starts shooting. Let’s see how many would be willing to drop it.

“Yeah, but what if there are a LOT of deer? What if they are in lightly-armored vehicles?”
