The Mexican government announced they will close their borders to Americans in the event that Donald Trump is elected President of the United States. President Enrique Peña Nieto announced the country fears Americans will flood their country and bring violence and chaos to their streets.
“Americans have a well-documented history of violence and we must act to keep our country safe,” President Nieto stated. “Many Americans have expressed a desire to relocate to our country in the event that Donald Trump becomes President. We can not have Mexico flooded with criminals and rapists. They are a violent nation and they won’t send us their best. We must be vigilant and keep a close eye on what could possibly transpire.”
The unprecedented move would mark a dynamic change in how Mexico handles foreigners. Many Mexicans fear the move could adversely affect trade relations with the United States. Mexico is currently the United States 3rd largest goods trading partner with $507 billion in total (going both directions) goods trade during 2013. Goods exports totaled $226 billion; Goods imports totaled $280 billion. The U.S. goods trade deficit with Mexico was $54 billion in 2013.

I think you’re right. I never thought of that. They won’t let us deport any of their own citizens back to Mexico. I’d like to see them try, Trump could put them into a depression.
The problem is their border will be more like a check valve. They’ll still export their poverty here.
The Mexican leadership, if they think they can close the border, are acting like they are smoking too much pot. We want control of the border, fools.
If Mexico wants to close the border, they are going to have to build a wall.
And since they are building the wall, Mexico is going to have to pay for it!

It will benefit us, they export their farm products to the U.S. and sell them on our markets w/o having to deal with Government regulations.
Americans should keep tjeir gringo dollars at home. Go see the Grand Canyon. Yellowstone. The Gulf Coast. Visit Alaska. The Smokies. There’s plenty of sites to see in the United States. Beauty and fun isn’t always found in the exotic.
Looks like a lot of C130 flights and parachutes will be the only way to repatriate their mexican citizens! lol

Really? I recently read on the FR that the border was straining the resources of the Mexican govt.
I had a vision one time that we were at war with Mexico at the border. I have only had a couple of these experiences. The other one happened ten years later.
Mexico sure has it’s panties in a twist. It will have a hard time keeping illegals out when we roll up the border. Mexico will actually have to guard it’s own borders. It will cause friction for them with their border nations. But uncle sucker is over for Mexico.
