Texas' efforts to halt the arrival of Syrian refugees have been blocked by a federal judge, who rejected Republican leaders' claims that refugees pose an imminent risk or that states deserve a say in resettlements.
The ruling comes days after presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump called to block non-citizen Muslims from entering the U.S. following the Orlando nightclub massacre.
U.S. District Judge David Godbey, who was appointed by President George W. Bush, had previously knocked Texas for offering "largely speculative hearsay" about extremists possibly infiltrating Syrian refugees. His ruling, which was signed Wednesday, rejected arguments that the Obama administration is wrongly leaving states on the sidelines when resettling refugees, which is handled by the federal government.

This George W. Bush appointee went to Harvard Law School the bastion of progressive judicial thinking. John Roberts, the Bush appointee to Chief Justice of the Supreme Court went to Harvard. So did progressives Elena Kagan, David Souter, and Stephen Breyer. Kagan served as dean of Harvard Law School. Anthony Kennedy, the swing vote on the court, was also a Harvard grad.
The federal judiciary is infested with leftists educated in the concept of the “living” Constitution by Harvard and the other Ivies. Bush could have chosen state university laaw graduates who live and practice in middle America. Instead he behaved just like a Democrat in appointing Ivy League progressive elitists. Why?

IF we know (and we do), the judge knows, therefore logic says the judge is acting as instructed on behalf of an agenda. Please don’t anyone tell me the judge is naïve.
I don’t believe we are in the “miss me yet” times of the “Bush Administration” anymore. I believe we’ve been had by those we trusted even somewhat as well as those we knew we couldn’t trust at all.
Maybe Texas should detain the refugees, detain any Federal officials escorting them, and dare Obama to send the Army to the State Capitol if they want to enforce this policy?
