“That’s because the Second Amendment clearly states the government has a right to regulate militias, made up of individuals,” he continued. “They have that right in the name of public safety. Therefore, Congress should debate what kind of weapons should be available for public sale. From what I’ve read, no mortars, bazookas, Sherman tanks, or hand grenades were used in the Orlando murders.
Also, from what I’ve read, the perp was not on any watch list—In fact, it appears he was known to, and had the blessing of, the Obama Administration.
Further, from what I’ve read, no gun control laws currently on the books, or under contemplation, would have stopped the Muzzie Democrat from getting a gun if he really wanted one.
O’Reilly, as usual, is full of shit.

But time out. I reject the media narrative as this takes Ted out of context. His complete set of Talking Points was addressing the notion that the Orlando massacre was about nothing but gun control. His response was, “hey, a debate on some level about the types of arms we want to allow is legitimate. Debate all day. At some point there are some weapons that aren’t allowed. Still, this is about way more than the usual gun control debate. We have a bigger problem.”
Shame on Ted for not realizing he would be used as a poster boy.
