It’s not mystifying. Wealthy Muslims have more money to donate than any other members of the victimhood hierarchy. The Saudis have bought both the Democrat and Republican parties.

The fix was already in when we left the oil fields intact for them to use decades ago.
The establishment care far more for their unholy alliance with the House of Saud, et al, than they care about the United States of America and We the People.
