Orlando: Why it Means War
American Thinker ^ | June 13, 2016 | Christopher Chantrill

Posted on 06/13/2016 10:55:39 AM PDT by Kaslin

When an Islamic terrorist gunned down defenseless US servicemen at Fort Hood in 2009 we were told it was workplace violence. When Islamic terrorists gunned down local government employees at a picnic in San Bernardino in 2015 we were told to withhold judgment until the facts were in even though minorities and women were hardest hit.

But now that an Islamic terrorist has killed 50 at a gay bar in Orlando, Florida, our rulers are calling it “terrorism,” even President Obama, even on the first day after the shooting.

Now I define government as “an armed minority occupying some territory, and taxing the inhabitants thereof to reward its supporters.”

It is interesting to me that the government apparently was not too exercised when a bunch of soldiers were killed, even though soldiers are the actual men with guns that keep the rulers in power. It is interesting that the government wasn’t too exercised when its local minions were gunned down, even though they are the functionaries that keep us “inhabitants thereof” properly subordinated to the rulers and that “make us legible” to the rulers by counting us and taxing us as James C. Scott writes in Seeing Like a State.

But this time it looks as though ISIS or its associates have really gone and done it. It demonstrates, I suppose, just how central gays are to the identity and the throbbing heart of the Democratic Party.

Islam has been at war with everyone else since 622 A.D.

We are deluding ourselves that there can ever be peace because their book tells them they must remain at war with infidels until they convert or kill them all.

The recent article on “virtue signaling” really explains the libtards perfectly.

Pulse appears to have been an upscale gay nightclub. It seems likely that wealthy gays might have visited it at one time or another.

It drives home to the gay elites that THEY could have been among the victims.

A war against an idea isn’t going to go far.

You can even blow up every city in the Moslem world.

The result will be that America will have a lot of enemies instead of just a few.

You can at best preach tolerance, screen for tolerance (The Dutch have would-be immigrants buy an expensive book filled with images known to be offensive to some people) in immigrants, and avoid offending others (which I’ll do here today, not discussing certain options some would be offended by).

Libtards are full of hate for the military. They want a county so weak that it will give up its sovereignty to a one world government. Why would they care if soldiers get killed.

from the article you posted, Milo:“It’s not just about terrorism, it’s not just about Islamism, it’s not about radical Islam, it’s not about political Islam, [or] any of the other euphemistic phrases that the media uses to try to distract attention from the fact that we have an Islam problem,” Yiannopoulos said.

which shows queer Milo gets this better than most “conservatives”. Milo has a huge following BTW. him and Ben Shapiro are on the outs now...... lol.. over Milo supporting Trump.

"...You can at best preach tolerance, screen for tolerance..."

Okay. How does one do that. Lie detector tests? Truth serum? Do you just ask them straight out. What if they deliberately practice taqiya (focused, acceptable lying and dishonesty) as their religion freely allows them to do?

We can't call the country they are "running" from to find out what they were like over there. What are we going to learn from that?

I disagree with you that screening for "tolerance" is the only option, but I am interested in hearing how you think we might bring 100,000 muslim "refugees" into this country, and "screen" them for "tolerance".

Mel Brooks explained it perfectly as well in Blazing Saddles:

Governor William J. Le Petomane: Holy underwear! Sheriff murdered! Innocent women and children blown to bits! We have to protect our phoney baloney jobs here, gentlemen! We must do something about this immediately! Immediately! Immediately! Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!

Right now politicians are harrumphing about this, but in the food pyramid of the democrat party, muslims outrank gays, so nothing will be done about it by the Obama administration.

“impeach Uppity Obama?”.....a day late and a dollar short...should have been done in 2009, or as soon as he began trampling on the U.S. Constitution. But Congress didn’t have the guts.

The traditional way of dealing with differences was to allow people to live in communities where differences were minimized by self-selection.

There was also self-restraint and even things like the Motion Picture Production Code.

And, by the way, I am interested. I admit to having some tunnel vision on these kinds of things, and I will be the first to admit there might be an aspect of that I am overlooking.
