Despite an increase in 2.5 million women between the ages of 20 and 39 in the last eight years, fertility rates in 2015 have plummeted to the lowest in recorded history, a new study shows.

Only 3,978,000 births were recorded in 2015, about 600,000 less than if women between the 'childbearing ages of 20 to 39' maintained the same fertility rates recorded in 2007, according to a study conducted by the University of New Hampshire.

Just look at the US Congress; not a pair of cajones amongst all of them so this is no surprise.

People need a good income and home in order to have a family. With most men living with their parents it isn’t happening.

My guess is that there is a lot of multiplying among the welfare state. They don’t give a damn about income thanks to the RATs.

[[ People need a good income and home in order to have a family. With most men living with their parents it isn’t happening. ]]

People in past had a lot less money and a lot more children.

Today, greedy and coddled young couples immediately want luxuries and large houses just like they had with their parents. No crowded apartment for us, we want our McMansion! So young mom goes off to work and has few children.

Interesting. Fertility rates dropping. Death rates rising. Insanity levels rising. Many new diseases. Next up, aggressive cancer infections climb dramatically. Followed by stark raving madness no doubt.

Could it be feminism?
Who would invest in these women?

Sad, but we can make up the gap in happy ways.

Hmmmm, I doubt if young men and women started having less sex after 2007, so I wonder how much of that 600,000 shortfall is due to abortion?

Seriouisly, who can afford to have kids? Who can afford to be married with the tax burden the way it is? The government punishes responsible people. It’s either the dirt poor or the rich who can afford families.

We’ve turned into Europe, 20-30 years behind their own birth dearth.

With a letter "a", "cajones" are boxes, or drawers, or box-shaped drums.

I think you mean "cojones". With an "o".

I predict that the English language will, in the next decade or so, acquire a new word, “cajones,” pronounced “Cah-Jones” or perhaps “Cay-junz,” like the French-speaking Louisiana population. It will be used by certain people to refer to their testicles.
