Disney CEO Bob Iger thinks companies -- including his -- are simply paying too much in tax to Uncle Sam. Iger told CNNMoney on Thursday that high corporate tax rates in the U.S. are "anti-competitive," and described the country's tax system as "ridiculously complex." "It doesn't mean that a company shouldn't pay taxes, but I think the structure is off ... the tax base should be lowered, and the loopholes should be closed," Iger said, without elaborating on potential reforms.

FU Eisner. The SoCon wing of the GOP needs to give the middle finger and do the "I can't hear you" act. Eisner and Disney has continuously back stabbed SoCons. Time for payback.

So why do these people keep voting for politicians (GOP or Dem) who simply want to have a Soviet Union with the Stars and Stripes?

Someone needs to focus on the fraud of payroll taxes and insurances to get at something that will resonate .... few people feel sorry for corporations

But the person making $15 an hour only gets about $11 clear should know it also cost the employer an additional $3 so their government gets $7 an hour for being the Government.

Prevailing wage and raising minimum wage is not to help the employee its to help ship jobs overseas

Maybe Disney should stop supporting Tax and Spend liberals and focus their efforts to get Trump elected...

Given Disney’s increasing use of H1Bs, don’t feel sorry for them at all.

Under the old Disney participles, of the old Disney I remember, Walt already would have released his Cartoon Characters to attack in the theater cartoons, the out of control Politicians that caused this problem.

Agreed. However their most egregious offense in my not so humble opinion is the perpetual copyright they've purchased from the best congress money can buy. Modern copyright terms are insane.

If they have money left after taxes to pay their CEO, they haven’t paid “There Fair Share” yet.

i MIGHT be a tinsy tiny bit more sympathetic to Disney if they hadn’t fired their entire IT department and replaced it with H1B foreigners.
